Has u played 2K23? I played the 2019 and 2K21, both good, but lacks so much in club and apparel brands! And the shot mechanics kinda sucked...
I have not played 2K23, but I have 2K21 and really was not impressed with it. I did enjoy the custom courses though. But that was about all I liked about it.
It’s funny how everyone Glazes EA when they’ve been out of the golf genre for 5 years because of poor Sales,& Community engagement. I don’t see why everyone trust EA afte there history
People trust them because when they actually get a game done right it is really good. But yeah they have a lot to make up for.
I would lower your expectations a bit. It is better to be surprised if the game lands than be disappointed in a letdown. From what I have seen, it looks good. But we got to see how many bugs, how it plays, and how much is locked behind micros.
Yeah that's true because we know there is going to be issues when they first release a game. But eventually it gets better
What concerns me a bit that EA hasn’t showed any real gameplay yet, just trailers. Last time I pre-ordered an EA game with little available info was Battlefield 2042 and it was a shit show on release.
Yeah same here 2042 was a dumpster fire but with this game not having as much action I think we should be ok, but I'm sure there will still be a few bugs.
30 fps is inexcusable
I agree with everything they have at their disposal nowadays I believe PC will have 60 fps which is what I will be playing on, but it should be available on consoles too. There is no reason they can't make it run at least 60 on console and 120 on PC.

Yeah I liked playing that. But my kids broke my switch so now I have to wait to play a good golf game lol

Last game I played was tiger 12 I think, I miss the good old days of 2004 n so on. I just started getting curious about golf games again n ik a lot has changed for offline players unfortunately. 2k doesn't impress much, though I've almost bought it multiple times. Holding out for EA 🤞 they don't mess it up.
Yeah I have high hopes for this game. I think I played a 2K game once or twice and it just didn't feel that good. I am looking forward to seeing how this multiplayer works out as well. I hope it is easier to join friends and matches.

I played PGA 2K21 and didn't really like it but I played it because there was nothing else I'm just going to wait for EA Sports.

Course grass textures look more realistic buildings paused at 4k have some extra texture depth along with reflective windows not like older golf games that looked like cardboard cut outs. I too want power and heartbeat shots again skies seem to be more varied. At 30 fps still needs to at least run smooth with the ball in the air. I also liked how the time of day progression at sunset for example tiger woods 2004 progressed further on in time playing into sunset. Not sure if it's 2004 or another year.
Yeah it will be nice seeing actual buildings for once. And I also hope they get the ball flying through the air smoothly. It just ruins it when you see the frame drops. Thanks for watching!
@@iceberg4299 You need to stop worry about frame drops because it is only a ball and a swing that is moving,the reason why this game is in 30fps is so that the game can look the best it ever has on a game console.This game is being made for the EA Tiger woods players and the gamers that like the EA style of golf.2k PGA lookS like it is 1080p 60fps the graphics are last gen and the gamer deserves more.
@Time2ShineX I agree that's one reason I never really like the 2K series. They just never really felt like they played well either. But yeah I do like the fact that this game should look really good and hopefully plays smoothly.
It's going to be based on 14. Rory killed the series. Not gonna lie 2005's swing was the most realistic as far as partial swings go. You had to master doing 25%- 75% or whatever shots when inbetween clubs. It beats what EA is doing now. This is what complaints are coming now. 1:50 DLC Is free. Ea has fantasy courses in their back pocket. Source is from an interview. There's another problem you should expect: We don't know if they are using the arcade era power boost or 360 era power boost for example 2009-11's version of power boost. 2:34 Create a swing is confirmed to not be in they are doing preset swings you choose from like 06 on 360. I want Augusta National 1934 and all the ps2 fantasy courses including exclusives like Copperhead Canyon from 2002, Paradise Cove from 2005, and Safari CC from 07.
Yes I think I remember 2005 and 2007 the most from the series and loved those ones. Rory just felt too wonky when you upped the difficulty. If the dlc is free I'm sure they will try to put in loot boxes lol. I do hope that they make the power boost fell like it used to as well as the spin control. I'm guessing it was the more arcade feeling I liked. Thank you for the input I guess I missed some videos on where they talked about somethings. Thanks for clarifying it and thanks for watching!
@@iceberg4299 I doubt they will try to pull lootboxes. EA can't afford stuff like that when stuff like course creator is a thing despite that 2k's course creator is linked to their servers. DLC so far will be free from an interview.
True. We have seen a lot of weird stuff from EA in the past lets hope that is behind them.
@@iceberg4299 I can't see EA ruining the one franchise they have left that isn't fucked over before they can resign Tiger Woods. They had microtransactions in the past and they were all 100% optional and could beat the game without them except dlc courses. Ironically the games that flopped were Rory and Tiger woods 06. 1 of which is when Tiger was not signed and objectively what killed the series. 6 is subjective but It was officially the end of the arcade era as the ball physics from this game were ported to the 360 era. 2005 was the peak.
@@ゆみす魔王 Rory did not kill the series because the series was in decline any way, having a yearly golf game is not the way to go as 2k have shown this.Rory was a game rushed out for the new ps4 console and that game contains even more content than 2k in terms of the career mode.The only thing that 2k has going for it in terms of content is the course creator and many modern games include this feature ,it is not enough.
