굿!
i love your layout first section inputs, middle party group masters and matrix and last party is control group (DCA)
So the unit produces clicks and pops whenever any levels are adjusted?
"tracks aren't the focus"- broad sweeping generalization- this is going to always vary depending on the artist.
I would use a longer bracket use center gravity and balance the camera on the tripod. it will help from using as much drag it tilting.
Thanks for the feedback, we've made those changes to the station.
Great video
Awesome tutorial! I met you briefly. Your a nice guy as well. Keep up the good work!
Was wondering how long it would take to recall that the vocal reverb was off.
Do you have a preference on the reverb you use
Excellent video
Nice Job! This is probably the best straight-forward and not too long overview of live mixing techniques. I may have had missed it, how are using DCA/VCA's in on your desk? Or are you even using them. Or is that what you meant by your sub-groups before your Bus Group to Main?
What about outboard reverbs?! Don’t have any?! An SPX90 is only $200
Yeah that’s what God wanted a church to have a console like that and probably speakers to match, But we need it to spread the word lol churches are a joke
Tracks lol
So much to learn!! Nice video.
Standing on the promises of God.. that is a nice song.. any chance you can send me the link to listen.. God bless you
Such a great overview. Thank you
Hello, are you sending groups to reverb or individual channels, also do you have separate reverb for guitars and keys? Kindly let me know. Thanks
✨
This was incredibly helpful, much appreciated.
Hi Devin! Very glad to hear. - JR
nice sounding snare
Thank you! - JR
do the channels have to be in post when using subgroups to mix?
Subgroups are by definition post fader, you do not need to put them in post. You just need to assign it in the Ouput part of the channel.
can do a training about that console ?
u have a great rack over there fella
Seems to be working for me. Thanks!
The music is over you. I’m barely catching what you’re saying…..
Use headphones you will understand Sir.
@@gettingstarted914 I'm using headphones and the mix is still not very good. Especially for a training video about mixing. Lol
@@arguy2021ur a hater
@@arguy2021 the presenter said on an early video that this mix is meant for the PA on their room, not for headphones, that's why it might sound a bit off.
@@arguy2021 funny...i thought the same thing lol
What is the app called
The app is called KLANGapp, it works with any Klang enabled device.
Nice video! That's a nice setup!
Thank you!
I've never worked on a DigiCo consoles, but the "spill" button is a nice feature for quick access no matter where you are in the layers. Is there such a thing in the M/X32 , Yamaha CL/QL, Midas Pro systems other than a user-defined layer? Although that's what a "spill" button seems to be.
Hi Aaron! It's a great feature, for sure. I'm also a big fan of the spill set feature of the SD/Quantum range, which has multiple spills recalled by macro buttons on the surface. I haven't spent much time with the M/X32 or Yamaha lines however, I do remember having POP groups on our old Pro 9 which functioned in a similar way (I think they were a combo of input channels and VCAs). - Josh
-13 and -18 what? LUFS? db?

@@gkmcrtv thx, good to have a target for speaking, typically shoot for 14 lufs with the music.
Thanks for the video, may I ask how is the waves superrack connected to the Digico console? I'm not familiar with this
No problem! The SuperRack PC, Waves Impact Server (not pictured in the video) and DiGiCo S21 (via DMI Waves card) are all connected with CAT5e to a gigabit switch. - Josh.
First!
Lol 😂
