GW didn't do anything. They gave him an offer to make content for their up coming streaming service. And while he was deciding and waiting on more information to make his choice. He was attacked and bullied by the "fans" relentlessly for even considering GW's offer. That is why they said F this and deleted all their 40k content and refused to ever touch the IP again.
