I used to edit games into movies but now I mostly do fan trailers.

Just a short trailer that I've been working on over the past couple of days. I'd say about 20 hours of work went into this. Recorded on PC and edited using Premiere Pro. Reuploaded due to mistakes that were made in the original video.

The fact this is fan made is just madness. Better than any trailer I have seen for this game that was “official” in fact, it may have been one of (if not) THE best damn trailers for ANYTHING, (movies, games, ect) that I have ever seen. Absolutely beautiful.
This was just a testing ground for GTA V.

Ngl out of all the amazing trailers, even the ones based on trailers for memorable movies, this actually feels more like a standalone movie trailer made for rdr2. Rockstar’s original trailer is more like a trailer for a video game that someone tried to make look like a movie but also knew it was a game…(?)

It always annoyed me those who claimed the writing on this was not as good as MP 1+2. The writing is brilliant and as strong as anything Sam Lake could do. I think it was more the fact it’s not set in snowy NYC that put some fans off. It would have been too repetitive to do yet another game in NYC, the scenery change here works well.
Agreed. One of the best lines is "drunk American has been and a Brazilian never was" 😁 and James McCaffrey delivers it perfectly

This is the only fan made trailer along Ennio's music that is actually made like how a trailer should be done. Excellent choice of cut-scenes to the respective spirit of the music, the J-cut, Jump-cut and L-cut are spot on. One sees talent.

Because of his disguise with his shaved head and sunglasses, he was discovered by them easily. Of course, throughout the story max becomes wanted because he can expose the culprits and is on his way to doing just that

How come words like "Killers" & "Rifles" come up on the screen around 30:28-30:31 in the style font that it does, for example?... Other words do that, as well... I haven't played 'Max Payne 3' in a while & I find it rather distracting, personally.
I always felt that things like that were part of the comic book aesthetic that the game goes for. Indeed, all of the visual flair can be distracting for some people, no doubt.
It's rockstar twist on how the previous games were presented. Which were like comic strips like the uploader has said. It's just keywords that are deemed important or "catchy". I don't think they are distracting personally
