What's a great Mystery is How much of Gods Greatness was embodied in his physical manifestation embodied in Jesus. 1 john 1-5 , a example that jumps out to me is MARK 13 And as he came out of the temple, one of his disciples said to him, “Look, Teacher, what wonderful stones and what wonderful buildings And Jesus said to him, “Do you see these great buildings? There will not be left here one stone upon another that will not be thrown down.” Makes you wonder could he see and have knowledge in the physical form all the way to our time and the end.

I am not in agreeance with you regarding the power of prayer today. I truly believe in Christ's power today through his people. I believe in the power of my prayers through Christ. Why would you bother to pray for someone if you did not believe in your heart that God would interceded on your behalf. Would that not be empty prayers. Why would I ask you to pray for me if you did not believe that Christ would answer that prayer.

You also brought up demon possession. What are your thoughts on demons? I believe they are not monsters like hollywood writes in movies. I believe they are the angels who fell with lucifer. I also believe that they are still possessing people to this day. Nowhere that I can find in the New Testement does it say the "demon possessed" have been eliminated from the world.

I like how you said you don't want to steamroll through this and that we have time. Are you sure? If the democrats win the election this country will be heading for its own tribulation I fear. All the riots and violent protests, looting, arson and murder. All made legal by the Democrats plan along with late term abortion. I guess I'm trying to say I believe all this evil is the start of the end times. Keep your eye on Israel now that they have a peace treaty with UAE and Bahrain. If the rest of the muslim world also signs a treaty look for Israel to start rebuilding the temple. Some people say we are doomsayers but the Bible clearly gives signs to look for. If you seek, You will find.

Great lesson. Concerning the Book of Blood. I have a copy. It is interesting. Since you mentioned the fall and satan let me ask you this. When was the book of Job written? Where would it be in the timeline of the bible? I ask because if it was after the fall how could satan have access to Heaven and God to ask his permission to torment Job. Just a thought.

Great comparison by putting baptism and old testament circumcision as similar. Your comments about the flood I also believe as fact. Cultures around the world all have a similar flood legend. I believe when the bible said God sealed the door of the ark was a way of saying that if you had a boat during the flood you would still die because God didn't "seal you in". On children being baptized, what is your view on what Peter said in Acts 2:39 "the promise of baptism is for you and your children". Also if there is only 1 baptism why do some baptists believe in multiple baptisms? I know of a few that have been baptized every time the change baptist churches. Are they being baptized for the right reason? It's like you said, they are being baptized only to be a member of a group. Also its very presumptuous to not think there were children in the "households". There is no evidence either way. I want to clarify that I don't want to come across as a doubting Thomas but I feel that any debate on such a drastic change of belief needs to be challenged. In the end it all comes down to your opinion and mine with the knowledge and trust that God will reveal the truth to each and every one of us.

Great lesson. Looking forward to the next lesson for more clarity in baptism. Only question on todays lesson is, Do you think the thief on the cross who we assume was not baptized or attended any church was a form of parable, symbolic, or did it actually happen as Jesus said? Hopefully these lessons continue as lots of my questions come from later books and some old testament books as well. The book of Job has a special place in my heart for me as certain passages in there actually appeased my doubting because of things science has proven but I thought were not in the bible. God has answered me and revealed that you can find answers even to things you wouldn't expect to find in the bible.
