I also suspect Desmond's bloodline will reveal he is at least the first version of a Kwisatz Haderach. That would be an awesome twist! In her prophecy Raquella also talked about someone who is born "on a path too short". What if she was referring to the path to create their perfect "being" but Desmond came too early in a way that the Sisterhood couldn't control him? If Desmond was that special human being it would be interesting to see the impact of that revelation on the entire Sisterhood. Would Valya still want to eliminate him? If so, how many of the Bene Gesserit would side with her? All of that would interesting to explore. Also, the glowing blue eyes definitely have something to do with Desmond. They might represent the idea of that messianic human being created by the Bene Gesserit breading program with AI and then reborn in spice inside the worm.
