The feelings you feel while hearing these voices talk to each other. Nobutoshi Canna and Kenji Utsumi have such badass voices. Sad to say Kenji Utsumi passed away 11 years ago.

As someone who doesn’t watch berserk and is kind of just watching the fights because they’re appearing on RUclips I have to say I am surprised with the accuracy of Griffiths techniques some of which I recognize and witness fencers utilizing in sparring And I also watched the second fight when guts leaves the band and one of the positions Griffith stands in is also a guard I recognize and can be found being used by Cutlasses and sabers

This is the first only manga i've ever completed. And I don't regret the time I poured on this. A time went by when I couldn't read for so long and this is the only one that I can say that I gave effort in trying to get back to.

Also why didn't he do what he has already done a few minutes earlier which is to cutdown the horse. Regardless how great of a rider he is it is useless if his horse is down. Again the failure of the writer and director to have any proper logic what so ever.

If Guts knows how to properly use his massive sword then Griffith won't even have a chance to land a single hit even with his speed. Instead the animators and director just got really lazy and had him attacking really close which defeats the purpose of having such a large and heavy sword.if it were me and I am able to wield such a sword effortlessly I'd be putting enough distance he would be dead before he can close the gap. But that how it is when writers can't decide properly, they give awesome strength weapons but then they make them lack a brain.

I think Guts was use to fighting people with a standard knowledge of sword fighting skill. Think about fights you got into as a kid or a bar etc. Alot of those people just making a fist and swinging, until they come into contact with someone with some training they look like crap an get defeated easily. Guts had some training, but Griffith had better training. Thats why Guts was confused how can that feminine looking dude with a skinny sword defeat me? Jut better training until Guts went Michael Jordan with his.
Guts and Griffith may be mercs, but they are cut a different cloth. Guts is a thug type. Griffith is more of a professional type.
