The airport is actually beyond capacity which is why Fiji Airports announced this year a 3 billion dollar upgrade. If you visit Fiji again in the next 5-10 years the airport will be very different.

I stayed there in 2005 when it was freshly renovated. Guess what? It was only $24 a night. Such a great deal. We had an amazing stay! ❤ Thank you!
