This is a video of the board in action. The secondary in this video is 5.5in diameter and wound 13.5in tall it's using 28 awg magnet wire the primary is 1/4 copper tubing and I'm tapped to the 1.5 turns using a .150uf capacitor for the primary it's rating is 3000vdc 500vac. This is a fabulous instructional video! Thank you! How do you use your oscilloscope without killing it with over voltage? Do you use a high voltage differential probe or did you make a separate step down voltage transformer and current transformer like you did for the current feedback loop?
@@BrentLeVasseur thank you very much ⚡️⚡️I use an isolation transformer and I have a 10 X probe. So that gives me a maximum of 400 Volts that I can read, I also use a variac. 👍👍

awesome! Have some questions left. You have separate power input for drains and base, according to schematics? Where does the second wire from secondary Tesla coil goes? Straight into the ground or....? I have a Tesla coil on 1 npn transistor where the second wire goes to the base of transistor. It works fine, but is needed at least 35 volt to become spectacular. Now I want to power it from ZVS, but can't get where to put the second wire from the secondary. Help please!
Thank you⚡️⚡️ the secondary wire goes to earth ground. I put a rod in the ground you don't have to go very deep. I have one 6 feet in the ground, you don't have to go that deep especially if you water it before using it. I even had a wire laying on the ground and poured water all over it and as long as it was in the water, it worked fine🤣🤣 I have done it other ways also. @@MaDnBaD about the separate power sources the 12v power source is running gates but grounds are tide together so the system will run on just the 12vdc with very low current. Just like a slayer circuit then the other 0-60vdc or A/c with a single diode for halfwave. Which gives swords. But tuning on a zvs is tricky have a video on that. Zvs with a single input voltage need a lot of current to get started so separate power supply work better 👍👍

I wish id known this was happening, Im an Engineer currently working on real world applications for Tesla's technology. I would have loved to come see the different coil designs folks brought to the fest. So very cool, these are the things we need to focus our brilliance on not all the noise of the crazy world.

I have two questions about your green and copper colored secondary. Is it two lengths of wire joined? If so how did you join them? Thank you.
@@kirkslab.5139 yes two different color wires but same gauge size and I soldered them with the wire overlapping about a 1/4 inch. I was wondering how it would work and it worked fine no issues so far this is the second coil I've done like this but you have to just barely solder it together you don't want no sharp points or let it get to big also used nail polish to coat the wire before finishing the winding
@@ArcAngelTeslaCoil Thanks for the reply. I've read that joining wires on a secondary would lead to a failure, but you have given me the confidence to try it. Salvaged wire always seems to be just a little short than whats needed.

I did the same thing with 40lb spider line and double space wrapped a 4" tall coil :) Worked really good.
@@drgonzo7806 awesome⚡️⚡️ I did 6lb mono was the same size as the magnet wire but it did heat up but with I made the other secondary with double magnet wire then was even better with no heating almost 👍👍⚡️⚡️
