Angelo Rainone with KIm Prevost and Bill Solley, playing at Bottega del vino in Perugia, Italy at Summer Umbria Jazz Festival 2015. 14 year old Angelo playing tenor saxophone. An interesting version of "Route 66."
This morning I received the bad news that my dear friend Gary Edwards passed away..no words to say but he was a really special music menager and a great person too. We met him some years ago... He saw us,in Perugia,during Umbria Jazz Summer,playing in the street(ruclips.net/video/5V36ElzJ3ko/видео.html) and after a while he invited our little child(at that time only 12!) and us to play with his groups from New Orleans in some clubs...very bold! So we became dear friends... Thanks to that opportunity and the following meetings and his special friendship, since then music has become more and more important in our lives and helped us to improve not only as musicians but as human beings too... THANKS GARY, YOU HAVE BEEN A GREAT GIFT FROM THE LIFE. REST IN PEACE...WE WILL ALWAYS REMEMBER YOU.
