Portrait of an Artist is a truly disgraceful money grab on the part of Simon Napier-Bell, Wham!'s old manager who George fired and has had a grudge against George ever since. He threw this piece of crap together to make money off George's death and the fact that Andrew (who knew full well about the reasons George fired him) appeared is so disappointing. Kenny Goss though too ended up being all about getting more and more of George's money after he died even suing George's family for it even though he and George had broken up 7 years before George died. I think some people who appeared in this thing did not know the history between George and Napier-Bell - but, for anyone with any interest, I suggest commenting on any videos you might watch that includes clips from this or reference to it and point out these issues - all of which you can find online (I'm not expecting people to blindly accept what I'm saying here - it is all documented in interviews George himself gave) and Goss' selling articles to The Sun months after George's death are easy to find as are articles about his lawsuit against George's family. This just pisses me off because wonderful gems like this brief clip are so nice to see except for where they appeared.

He said it was the loudest prayer of his life as his partner was dying from the same illness Freddie passed from. To go on stage and put on a performance of Somebody To Love, which was outstanding, a true professional to be able to do that while his partner watched❤

Nothing George Michael ever did as far as generosity goes shocked me because his generosity was Limitless. What a loss to humanity and the music world.

George's Musical brilliance is on a different level than most. As far as I'm concerned he's one of the most talented people to ever walk this planet. So sad he's not with us but I'm very grateful he left us so much of himself to enjoy.

Watched this documentary on Amazon Prime on Sunday. It was so good to see! I belonged to the Wham! Fan club at 13 years old in 1984. I was smitten, absolutely smitten with George and Andrew. And as George transformed into this mega- superstar with the "Faith" album, we all knew he had what it takes to be one of the best male performers of all time. One of the darkest days in pop music 🎶 history was Dec. 25, 2016.

I loved this documentary. Yet again it showed what a talented, nice, charitable and all round nice human being George was. I wish he could have loved himself as much as we loved him. It really is a tragedy. I am just so glad that he left us with his beautiful voice in his music.
