That Umbreon card is really nice, I don't think its the best in the set, but its still a nice card.

Umbreon is definitely a great pick, although I prefer Espeon.

Glaceon is great, was the better eeveelution compared to Leafeon.

@CiscoTCG Most of the newer sets were available for weeks before this recent boom. Who knows, maybe I'm a weirdo for not acting like a victim. Not like shrouded fables wasn't up for the taking for months or anything. I'm not nearly as bothered as you and most of this comment section, trust me lol. Mainly just confused by the victim mentality that's so rampant around this hobby.

@Notmyname64 Yes, you are right they were. We were ok buying and ripping sets we could afford when we could afford them. I am not a victim, but I am lending my voice to the victims. I can wait and miss a set, sure Pokémon cards aren't a necessity. But why do so many enjoyers have to pay the price for a market manipulated by greed? Not everyone has the privilege of buying cards as aggressively as others. That's where I can help. I will do what I can to make the hobby as accessible to as many people as I can. I'm glad you aren't a victim, but let those who just want to make their voices heard complain in peace. It's no skin of your nose, is it?

@@CiscoTCG No one HAS to pay these prices. It's no skin off anyone's nose if they wait a year for things to cool down. I'm a regular buyer too. He'll, Poke Center flagged me like I was the Terminator himself trying to get the last set. But wishing people bad pulls for beating me to the pun is low. Good luck with that to you and people who lose sleep for not getting that shiny cardboard rush.

@Notmyname64 Brother, listen to yourself. You are saying that my wishing them bad pulls is like an actual curse or something. I am not wishing bad pulls on the people fotunate enough to get product ahead of me. I am against those who buy all the product they can and prey on those who want it bad enough. Just because you and I don't have that problem, doesn't make it ok. Especially when someone unknowingly buys from these jerks, just trying to get their loved ones what they are looking for.

@evodudedad2053 It's a big problem. And LGS are now trying to charge you an arm and a leg when they have items in stock.

You and everyone’s grandma literally returning to the hobby is picking up anything Pokemon card related because of the 2024 boom and sports people dumping their money into Pokemon because of insane growth rates.

@ agreed what im saying is everyone sees profit in Pokemon mostly for a quick buck. That is why the hobby has grown more expensive because of the rate people buying any set or item seen on shelves it’s become too much to try to just jump in.

@Evo_Me The issue is not buying a box or two and having sealed for your own personal collection. The issue is a lot of so called "investors" will buy as much as possible with the intent of "boosting their portfolio" and just price out everyone else. All collectibles have value, its natural, its what makes them collectible. But when "investing" is just used as a substitute for "scalping," thats just scummy behavior.

Yeah, they have found out how to use pipe finders to tell if a pack has a hit or not. Crazy times we live in.

They are mostly buying the gem mint 10 slabs for crazy prices and driving the prices of everything else up with it.
