入境其实还算好，大不了稍微慢点，然后排队入境。看口碑大关出境很麻烦，值机柜台开的很晚，提早2小时，提早2.5小时开柜台，排很长的队伍，然后安检又是绕长队，最后还要航司来安检这里捞人，这个比较折腾，赶不上，错过了，需要自己重新买机票了

When I say "the computers don't work". The staff computers work just fine. It's the checkin kiosks that never work. Even when you go to the ANA line, they have automated kiosks that you check your bags in with. The glare from sunlight is so bad in the airport terminal, that the ANA kiosks can't read your face to collect biometrics. It's extremely poorly designed.

I have been to Japan several times this year, and immigration at Haneda Airport, Kansai Airport, and Nagoya Airport is very fast. Maybe you happen to catch several large planes arriving at the same time, such as 380, 350, and 747, and the people getting off the plane are all crowded together. 3 hours is too scary, my friend said 1 hour is bearable.

I have never used facial recognition before. I usually go to the manual counter. Some self-service machines are inconvenient to use. The main reason is that I'm afraid of making mistakes. If I make a mistake, I have to find a human. It's better to go directly to a human without worrying about it.

@@fly520 Have you noticed after COVID the quality of everything in Japan has fallen off a cliff? Or is it just me? I went through Kansai as well (not Nagoya), and I had a similar experience with long lines. Thailand has shown the most improvement in re-opening, but Japan has become the worst. I understand you go to manual counters, but at least at Haneda you're forced to use the facial recognition machine for baggage check-in. It's awful in daylight, because the place ANA counters are located is in direct sunlight so the machines simply fail. It would be nice if they had manual counters, but my experience at Haneda was a nightmare and the worst of any airport I've been to.

There may be a shortage of manpower in Japan, and the service has indeed declined, but because there are some worse experiences in other countries, the Japanese experience is still okay. When traveling in Japan, it is best to avoid the morning and evening peak hours and the peak hours of tourist crowds. 2. At Haneda Airport, I currently only have international entry experience . When flying from Haneda Airport to other Japanese cities, I still have to find someone to help me check in my luggage. Facial recognition, bad sunshine, I haven’t experienced it yet, I will try it when I get a chance. 3. The experience in Thailand is okay, but it seems that there are a lot of people, both inbound and outbound. Especially the exit queue, the efficiency is a bit slow. But the BKK is very good. I like to spend more time shopping in the airport and experience the lounge. It is indeed much better than the lounges in many countries.
