This is so interesting, because my particular brand of sensory processing abhors the sound of velcro, the only thing I have that had velcro was my coat and I picked it off. I don't mind if my shoes are too loose, but I will stop if they're too tight. I'm very particular about socks though

I had the same issues, as well as them not being tight enough but I can't deal with the feeling or sound of Velcro, so I wear laced shoes using a surgical knot! They slide to adjust so it's easy to take off, and they don't undo on their own. They can also do up tight, and you don't really have to re tie it (: I was so happy when I found that solution

I prefer slip on but mainly have lace shoes, I'd like to have a slip on pair sometime. But, I'm not a big fan of the sound or feel of velcro myself.

Velcro shoes can be difficult to locate but definitely prefer them over laces. I get super flustered if I’m out with lace shoes and the knot undone. 🙃

I wear slip on shoes. They’re always somehow exactly the right amount of tight, but I can just step on the heel to take them off. I don’t know why, but I get a small dopamine rush when I put them on.

Definitely a crested gecko! I have bias becuase I have one as a pet but I think how they change colors with emotions is cool like where they’re happy or riled up the become more red and when relaxed the become more dull.

I have tourettes syndrome and Autistic disorder since 2008

My brother has Tourettes syndrome, and his son also has TS. He's 11 yrs old and will pick up the tics that his dad does, so they'll have matching tics. It's cute in a way lol I've lived around it my entire life. My father has it, and his mother had it. I myself am autistic 🌻

We love our lanyards. We have a wall of fidget toys and sensory chews with clips, and every time we leave the house, we pick which fidget we would like to bring along. It's such a comfort 💜 I definitely understand wearing sunglasses!! I wear them a lot, and sometimes indoors if I'm feeling like there's a lot of eye contact going on lol. We're all different 💙💚🧩🩵🌻

I really like moles like golden moles and dumbo octopi because they remind me of my brain and I like melanistic tigers because they’re really unusual and rare and pretty and I also like pigeons because they can be really fat and they are friendly
