This year here in Arizona there was a young woman who got lost in the desert at night after getting her car stuck the next day she went on a hill called 911. The 911 operator had no idea where she was because she could only make 911 calls due to her MVNO carrier not having any domestic roaming contracts she was not able to tell them where she was. She gave them the LAT long several times but the 911 operator incorrectly entered the information. If she had a data roaming service she could have texted the location to the 911 operator. No one ever found her a month passed eventually a RUclipsr listen to the complete 911 call and actually plugged in the lat long she gave them correctly and someone located her body the next day. This is a situation where domestic roaming actually contributed to someone's death. I never knew about domestic roaming until I had Mint Mobile drove into an AT&T only area my phone said "911 emergency calls only". If you want to know more about this case her name was Amanda Nenigar. It's disturbing to listen to the 911 of her talk for over 45 minutes to the operator and calling back a few more times sounding more desperate. I got rid of the MNVO I won't go back to one in the future.
