This song pushed a lot of buttons for me, back in 2011 or whenever I bought the CD. One commenter here called it Goth-dustrial. I’d say this one for me is the Pop-Goth-dustrial tune on the album, and that’s not a bad thing! I missed a lot of the period between “Cleanse, Fold, and Manipulate” and “The Greater Wrong of the Right.” The earlier LP was more a stew (vegetarian, most likely) of sound with nuggets emerging from the gravy, while this newer album is far more song oriented. I am forever happy that Skinny Puppy played in my town back in the ‘90s. Weird-ass show he put on!
