Hi I'm currently a high school junior and I'm really interested in the neuroscience program at jhu but I'm a bit concerned about the crime rates in Baltimore. Could you share any insights or advice on how students manage safety while living there?
We get public safety alerts pretty frequently (every week or so) about robberies/crimes that happen near campus (within 1 mile radius) ex. our cvs got robbed a few times, our 7/11 gets robbed regularly, and it's not safe to walk alone at night past 10pm usually. But I personally haven't felt like it affected my life that much, so if you really like the program, I think it's worth coming here even if the safety is a bit inconvenient.

Yes I took 2 years of classical voice lessons but am not currently taking any! Keep at it!
