    These drugs come in by your own staff members. Look at yourself. Also, maybe y'all should give the AICs adequate medical treatment. Staffing, well if y'all wouldn't push out the good staff then it be better and if y'all hired non crooked ones DOC would be better. There are many things that need to change within ODOC for the better.

      @suemarshall363 Год назад

      I think that's the point of putting this video together - to show that it is an awesome program, that it is working and has value, that it's worth the time and money, and to encourage other institutions to try it.

    • @svetlanabaidak526
      @svetlanabaidak526 Год назад

      @@suemarshall363 normally I would agree with you. Except for I know one of the men in the video who is no longer at that facility. And has asked to have such program at another one due to seeing how many men need and want the help. However was told it is “never happening”. Eastern Oregon facilities have almost no programs compared to OSP that have so many that benefit the prisoners now and after reentry. This fact has been known to Oregon DOC for years. Yet nothing changes.

    So how many of these programs did the AICs have to push to be able to have these programs on the inside? I agree there needs to be rehabilitation for the AICs and when I was in prison there was nothing offered, we had to look for what we wanted to get done to change. NON of the programs did DOC offer. We as AICs had to find volunteers to come in for different programs. There is NO CORRECTION in DOC. They like the revolving door and the money they make off of AICs, and their friends and family. IT IS A BUSINESS and full of CORRUPTION!!!

    4 years in the making of this documentary, HARDWIRE THE FIRST DOCUMENTARY FILM ABOUT FAITH IN AMERICAS PRISON SYSTEMS! This was the first documentary film ever produced by the Oregon Department of Corrections. It was indeed my pleasure to product this film! It was always about those who I worked with while incarcerated!. That was why I produced the film! For the inmates and those family members who lost the ones they loved... I served the inmates at 2 Rivers with Champlain Hodney and witnessed the shocking results of every day prison life... I heard confessions of those guilty of murder, assault, rape and more that confessed and gave it all up to Christ for forgiveness... As well many other unconstitutionally falsely accused and unconstitutionally found convicted in the lens of the unfair justice systems of America... Crying out for true justice... I saw many released and compensated for those unjust convictions! As we all know... Not everyone is truly guilty of the crimes they are convicted of.... Everyone knows the justice system does not always get it right! This is a subject we will revisit in another film on the Discovery Channel in production (12/5/2021). But for the sake of gratitude, respect, honesty, much love, and many thanks to the staff at every level who helped me make this film possible... My statement stands... My prayer is that the footage will assist everyone in the eternal walk we all are walking on... Sometimes alone but never without... My heart remains with the inmates in every institution in Oregon D.O.C. Brother and yes... sisters! I will never forget the love and compassion you showed me while I walked with you... Remember this... As a Christian.... You have the protection of Jesus Christ and the direction as you walk your path through corrections! All praise and Glory to my beloved savior Jesus Christ! Thank you, Gary Sims and Colette Peters, for your help and permissions to serve the inmates of the State of Oregon! Blessings Everyone and may we all find the path that leads us home without the suffering of this world!
