When I went to set mine up I tried to push the roads in and realized it’s not supposed to lay in flat

Ryan, absolutely astounding. No one, and I mean no other vendor on Etsy has an assembly video. The fact that you also took the time to include a wood craft-pick and four large rubber bands in the packaging is amazing. I didn't think I would need to glue anything, since most organizers for tabletop games on Etsy are really not glue-heavy projects, (they tend to stay together with friction fit laser cut wood), but you definitely have to glue some parts of this kit together for stability. The extra craft tools was very appreciated, and your professionalism and attention to detail will be underrated for a while until you fully get off the ground. My only two suggestions are: put in the details of this video WHAT you're assembling, and where to find it, so someone can click it and it takes them straight to your product. Some people search for "Sleeping Gods" which is likely in your tags for the video, but won't know what this is initially, and if they did, wouldn't take the time to search for the organizer kit unless it was made easy with a click. You can even pin a comment above this one to the video (so it's right there, they don't have to open the details section). I would also add that the pinned comment might describe what the viewer is seeing here. Some who search for Sleeping Gods are searching for instructions on how to play it: but this isn't a bad thing for you, because an aftermarket organizer will now be in the back of their minds, and you are the only one in existence for Distant Skies. The second suggestion is to create an LLC for LVL UP, (LLC licenses are free) and a P.O. Box in your town so you can list it under that name, do not use your actual personal name or address on return address packages. It's highly dangerous, for a multitude of reasons. One small example might be: your business takes off in a couple years (because tabletop games are exploding after 2018) and you become well known on Etsy and now RUclips since you link your products here, (again incredibly great choice to do this). Some random jackass has beef with you from a comment string spat, or something you say on another video that offends them, orders your product to find out where you live, and pays you real life personal visit. That's one possibility out of hundreds. Just be careful, please. Good luck, WELL DONE, and God bless! I hope your business DOES take off, and make millions my friend. Stick to it, you are most definitely on the right track. P.S. The foam pieces are a really nice touch. Very... "savvy."

Would love to see one for ISS Vanguard as it is a huge game. Love the organizer forOathsworn! It looks great in the box. Wish now I had gotten the miniature display also!!

Assembled the box, the tray and two of the overlays for now (playing solo with 2 investigators... but I'll finish the overlays sooner or later). A funny thing is I had the Travis' issue with overlays, when the wood glue was still fresh, bowed in the middle to the point the plastic holed covering layed above the corners, and not inside as it should... BUT, with the glue setting and drying (and with a little weight placed on), it came back flat just as expected. In the end, the result is top-notch! I just love that product. Somewhat expensive (especially the bundle box/dice tray + overlays) yes sure, but I don't regret any penny invested. Thank you for such a nice accessory. CDMD playing pleasure growing up with!

I got these for a Xmas gift and just assembled these. I can say using wood glue and rubber bands is the way to go. Great product and easy assembly!

Great video! It’s really impressive how much attention to detail and thoughtfulness you have put into these inserts. I know this is going to make it so my family will play our game more often and waste less time getting down to business! I’m waiting for my assembled parts to dry right now so I can tuck everything away nicely ❤👍

About halfway through building this and here’s a few things I found helpful: I switched to using tip of a pen cap for glue application about halfway through since my wood glue didn’t have as fine a tip and that sped things up quite a bit! Also if you set the video to play at .5 or .25 speed that can be helpful while building!

What glue did you use

Just received my order and they look awesome. A question not concerning the player boards directly but where did you get your glue container....that thing is awesome!

Hi, I bought these off of Etsy from you and they look fantastic. However, the board base is a little bowed in the middle. So the character sheet with the plastic overlay on it doesn't lay flat into the holding corners. This results in if you accidentally Russia, sure to crossed it while reaching for the game board, the character sheet with the plastic overlay just slides right off. Do you have any recommendations for trying to get the base board to lay flat?

Thanks for the instructional video! Followed it and got my insert constructed just last night. I ended up using toothpicks for the wood glue clean up instead of the knife, everything turned out well. One thing I tried to help my player dashboards: you can use the wooden piece you pop out of the top frame to press the against dashboard frame from the inside so the frame locks together on the inner connections, rubber bands were not able to provide that outward pressure to hold it in place. Just restating, the piece that was used to push the foam in helped with making sure the dashboards set properly on the inner side as well. Look forward to the seafarers and traders and barbarians insert!

You couldn’t have bothered to cut out the 30 seconds where you have the game scoreboard base piece upside down and quickly flip it back? And then say it’s important to note where it is AFTER gluing it together??? Cmon man, now I have to toss that whole thing…
