I just recently got mine from ROSS for $17 today 3-24-2024 and although I haven't taken it out of the package, I used the gimmicks to scare my cats and they were really scared.

The big feet are no excuse. My 93 original rex and raptors all stand fine

The presenting of this video is actually good. I will say that the HC T-Rex is supposed to represent an action figure for collectors. It's not a toy for children like Mainline. In comparison, I still consider Mattel Red Rex to be the best Mattel Rex for what it is. Because even though HC T. Rex is an action figure for collectors in the premium line. Which technically should be better than kids toy. But It's still not as accurate or as good as it could be, but Mattel's Red Rex is nearly perfect as for a kid's toy. And Mattel Red Rex is supposed to represent the classic style of kenner which has a novel colors design instead the movie colors. It's not seems really fair to comparing the realism between HC Rex and Mattel Red Rex. That's why i actually think Mattel Red Rex is Better.

I've bought mine for equivalent of £18! and it was the cheapest one after stomp 'n escape was 20. The Extreme Damage has weird proportions. Legs are the same but torso and head is much smaller.

True nostalga right there. Going back to 93 the kenner toyline dinosaurs colours , well from my research i think they used colours from the novel of jurassic park as all was being put in place before the filming the movie had not been completed yet. So them red rex colours are what the t rex was in the novel. The novel also had a young t rex which kenner did a toy of.

Extreme Damage or Legacy molds is accurate size to the standard t.rex size. The body is not exactly because it's a bit too slim. But the Head size is accurate size to standard t rex compared to the Mattel JW human figures. You can compare with pics of T rex skull with human. The things that made it too small is the legs height is too short for its proportion. The feet is way too oversized. And tail is too short. If all of these are proportionate. The scaling would be looks better in my opinion

Personally, I'm not a fan of the Hammond T.rex. Too many joints ruin the look of it and it just looks to cartoonish to me. Hands down the two best proper scale t.rex versions are the Epic Roarin and the Hunt n Chomp is a close second. These two have the most realistic sculpts and look the best. They don't have the pose ability of the Hammond but they look far better which is what counts for me. If you take the time to learn how to repaint realistically, these two look amazing.

I’m pretty sure the Dominion T-Rex toy has the larger head so that it can swallow figures but I could be wrong.
