The start is not Verstappen's fault. Vettel turned into Raikkonen and pushed him into Verstappen. However, the other two incidents are on Max.

@peterfighter This is Max's mistake. Max dived in there without making sure that he was seen by Kimi, who simply couldn't see him. This is the mistake of beginners who try to take advantage of any situation, but who do not see the big picture and cannot calculate what will happen next.

Bro… where do you the bad decisions? In the first one kimi overtook him, verstappen tried to take his place back and push him on the track (Max’s fault). In the second one kimi went on the inside and max blocked him. I don’t know the rules that existed back then but that’s some dangerous driving. If you don’t agree you are deluded.

Tom was incredibly smart and adaptable, but he just never came from any money; perhaps we can infer that he was kicked from his family due to his homosexuality, or something else. While he was sociopathic, there's a part of me that thinks that he could've been a very powerful ally and friend to Dickie. Based on his little exposure we saw, he would've fit in very well with the elites and most likely able to form connections for business. He was shrewd with words and able to read people despite being slightly awkward. I think Dickie failed to see an opportunity due to his own arrogance.

0:27 - there's something so identifiable about Tom here. He hates his poverty, and it's totally understandable he looks up to Dickie. Handsome, rich, charismatic, fun, "cool" Dickie. I get how he wants to find his identity/purpose by being Dickie's friend, thus becoming "important" by association. If Dickie had let him, I believe Tom would've been a super loyal hang-on, just to be able to enter the elite world. When Dickie rejected him, it stung so much that he lashed out in rage. But we can see that he truly loved Dickie, in his own twisted way, by the way he held the corpse afterward. I feel sorry for Tom, and this was a fantabulose movie.

Yes, Ripley had a hunger to be near Dickie and to be Dickie.
If he "let him", let him what exactly? Dickie, like any sane person, refused Tom's advances in the bathroom, and Tom behaved like a leech, like a little girl, as Dickie said, always following him and not letting go. This is why I disliked this movie; he murders and then starts impersonating a guy and we are supposed to feel sympathy for him? The dude was a black hole destroying everything everywhere he went, he quite literally didn't do one thing right, he only destroyed lives for his selfish and sociopathic reasons. But then again, the writer of the book, Patricia Highsmith, was a very evil and twisted woman who loved the N*zis, and in her own words, loved evil and considered it greater than good. She was a pseudo-satanist and a mentally ill sociopath, no wonder she tried so hard to make Ripley look like the troubled misunderstood guy.
