I would say that you expose Advaita Vedanta. Yes, Consciousness cannot be object of inquiry. If so we loose it. Yes. Consciousness is fundamental and everything we see or touch is seen or touched in consciousness. Yes. Pure consciousness is pure Being. In consciousness everything appears, exists and disappears. Professor you should refer to Raymond Peat, the biologist and holistic philosopher. His theory is that consciousness is the ordering structure of electrons in the gel like terrain of the cels/brain.
