I have one question: What if the WMSR and RSI are in between overbought and oversold section (Or you can say the "normal" section)? I tried to analyze some names, seemed divergence is not very relevant to stock trend, so we just need to be patient in the "normal" section? Thanks

Pulling up or down the curtain is a great metaphor. Thanks for that. But using black and red for the hollow candlesticks and red and green for the filled candelsticks makes this video a lot more complicated and you waste a lot of time just explaining that you can use whatever color you want. An unneccessary hindrance of being pedagogic.

thanks Jake. Long time subscriber and this content is super helpful. The second example mentions that you took that trade on DIS. The chart shows that once MACD crossed, the stock went up for about 10 days or so but then it fell and came back to around where it started. I looked at the chart from that time. in dec 2022, the stock price was below both the 200 SMA and the 50 EMA. and true to whats expected, both of these acted as resistance and the stock fell around May 2023. How do you factor the Moving Averages also while taking a position ? I guess what I am asking is how to play the setup? Is the idea to take a position once the MACD crosses and exit once MACD crosses on the way down? Or something else.

Thank you for everything, JAKE. Question. When you are looking for divergence, are you looking first at candlesticks, or at the rise from the MACD bottom? From the divergence of the %R? Or are you looking for it from a bird's eye view of the chart?

Mine doesn't work like that - and I'm using the same one. When I click on a spot it jumps up or down to a random looking spot but not where I clicked.

Lower time frame macd . Rsi give false signle.

I find 200ma is much better than vwap

Hi, in Tradingview , when you choose Anchored Vwap, which set up should we choose for its source from its setting? Source: open, high, low, hL2, hLc3, ohLc4, ect .. What are these and which one to choose always as fixed? If we set it up on swing high point so which setting we have to choose and if at the same chart we set up at a swing low then which setting we have to choose? Thanks

I thought Macd is such a lagging indicator. After following your video, noticed Macd accurately signals the reversal on SPY so many times. This is gold. !!
