@@tjmoney5995 from all the research I’ve done it’s only an iPhone app I’d hit up the Facebook group page that Tuttio started and put in that question and see what they say I have iPhone so mine just pulled up I actually had the app download wile I was waiting for my dongle to be delivered….

@ReedWurst that I’m not sure of as I’m not doing none of that can’t afford to get hurt jumping or wheeling the thing wish I could tho I just cruise I’m sure if you jump it the wrong way or wheelie the wrong direction you could break the bike or yourself as far as waterproof it’s electric I would mix those 2 things but if you absolutely have to ride it in the rain or puddles I would cross my fingers if you don’t end up ruining something in even avoiding snow for the time being but I see tons of people on RUclips riding in the snow mud and everything else…

@@kellylaning386 I just took that front fender positioned it over the shock drill or poke eight holes four on the top floor on the bottom and then zip tie it on. That’s all I did pretty easy.

@@TuttioShaze right at the end of the video my seat knob keep jiggling loose and I think it’s something breaking so I immediately hop off but forget I have the bike on and tap the throttle and away she goes bent my left break lever… and ya I need to get pics of my tune I swear I put everything in but maybe missed something and my battery is like half full so it wasn’t a full battery idk

@@unlicensedassassin, the settings going around with ratios in speed all 80%-100% is not a tune. It’s some nonsense lol. Weight has nothing to do with top speed unless you are going uphill or downhill, but if you are a big guy wearing a fluffy coat, the aerodynamic drag is what limits top speed, assuming the battery is fully charged and the controller os set for turn and burn (max amps, no attainable rpm limit, weak response 0. Obviously for max acceleration, all you can do is set Max Line Current to 70a, and then Max phase at 240a. As long as the BMS doesn’t trip, these settings are fine. For top speed you need to remove the rpm limits. That means MaxSpeed must increased above 3500 factory setting. You can set it to 9000 rpm while testing because the final step to decrease it to the correct value which is determined by screen recording the graph page of the fardriver app. With MaxSpeed out the way, ratios in speed was factory set to limit rpm to about 3800 rpm. So these can TEMPORARILY be increased to 100% from top to bottom. With weak response 0 (max field weakening enabled), you can find level road with no wind and set the fardriver app to GRAPH and start screen recording. Then run full speed snd hold it for 10 seconds so it can stabilize. Then end the screen recording and review it. When I review a test run screen recording I look at all readings: Rpm when “weak” first appears on the screen Max rpm (average rpm during the 10 seconds at full speed) Battery sag from before acceleration until throttle release. Throttle low and throttle high signal voltage DC amps to ensure they went to 70a and stayed there, Phase amps to male sure they came down to around 60a-80a because thats the normal relationship of line amps and phase amps. Next is the interpretation of the data. You have to look at battery sag, which can affect top speed if you are already at the rpm where field weakening is needed. If you see “weak” on the graph page, it means you need or already using field weakening to go faster. If the battery is sagging too much while the controller is sending field weakening amps, it will go slower than possible. And the only way to let some battery sag recover is the reduce LINE amps. And the only way to reduce line amps without a hard rpm limit is to reduce the % of the ratio in speed near that rpm range. Ratios in speed is very simple, it does ONE function, and that is to reduce the PHASE AMPS to a certain percentage of MAX PHASE AMPS within an rpm range. That is all. Now the EFFECT of changing that is what we are looking for. So if your top speed was using 80a phase current, thats 33% of 240a, so those setting theirs to 80% are doing absolutely nothing, because 80% of 240a is 192a. So if you set your % to 25-30% at the RPM corresponding to your max rpm reached, it will reduce phase amps, which WILL reduce LINE amps, which WILL allow the battery voltage to recover some, which WILL reduce the amount of field weakening current needed. So ONE of the EFFECTS of setting ratios in speed is to LIMIT FIELD WEAKENING DEPTH so that the current doesn’t get locked at maximum while not really going faster. Reducing phase amps which are primarily for field weakening current lets the motor run cooler and the battery also run cooler. Finally after setting the taper down to 1% or 0%, doing several test runs, we will know the max rpm and can go back to MaxSpeed and set it so it just barely reduces rpm. This adds stability to the speed and makes it safer to run full throttle on a stand. Ive know people who did not set the rpm limit and their hub-sink exploded when the motor ran 2200 rpm. And yes, I can see all this in 30 seconds from one screen recording of the graph page of the fardriver app. The reason NOBODY Has made a real tuning video is you would need to include a 1 year engineering curriculum lol. This just covers basic tuning. A real Fardriver tune includes PID settings. AN, LM and Current Loop KI settings. KI settings are the most neglected because the fardriver manual doesn’t tell you how to tune them and you can’t see the effect directly.
