Austria is a predominantly Catholic country, so the Christmas season didn't end until January 12th. (Just to explain why you'd see so much Christmas "after Christmas ".) Christmas day is only the beginning of the Christmas season. Perhaps it was a wonky English translation but, when lighting a candle in a Catholic church, you aren't making a wish but saying a prayer. Often it is for the deceased but it can also be for someone who is sick or going through a hard time. There's some catholic knowledge for you. 😂 Beautiful vlog! I've only been to Salzberg so it was lovely getting to see Vienna!
