some good information to know about installation of blinker trim. Your boat must be equipped with hydraulic steering to install, but there were some nice surprises during the hardware installation that made the job way easier.

Try having the dealer address the issue. Usually ptcu update does the trick.

I've got 7 footers in there no issue. You are going to want rod socks on them to stop them from tangling .
I forgot to say that the dealer installed an automatic bilge pump too. I thought it came with one, it didn't and it would have prevented the flooding incident.

@Stubbyvegas glad to hear it. Get that blinker trim, it's a must have.
Blinker trims: A must have. The wiring is run up behind the switches for trim and you can just make jumper wires for the jack plate switch. The prewiring for the fish finders was fused at 3 amps. Completely inadequate, I just put a fifteen amp in there, its very large wire and can easily hold that much. That fuse holder is also behind the switch panel. I trimmed some plastic off the seat backs down at the hinge point so they lean back a little more. They were quite useless before this modification. I took it to Kerr lake in NC, its 50K acres. Rough water, swells, wakes, etc... We did 48mph with two people on board and the boat handled great. Very smooth ride, very controllable. I would definitely pay for the hydraulic steering, and add the blinker trim. You have a whole different boat. Spring for the stainless prop also. It just won't perform without it.
Trim and tilt is prewired behind the switch panel. A double red, a green and blue wires that aren't connected to anything. The jack plate i just installed jumper wires off the switch.
I got the dealer to install a powertech 21 pitch stainless steel propeller and it hit 50mph. It's a but scary at that speed so I've ordered blinker trim switches.

No matter what you do reverse is not going to work especially in wind or current. I thought there was something wrong when I first got the boat but apparently that style hull doesn't react in reverse. It's the only thing that I hate about the boat. Mt cheap tracker was great in reverse si I was shocked. I can get up to 53 MPH with mine but I have the powertech stainless. Hopefully you're getting your problems addressed
Some of the points you brought up were spot on to my 2022 model. Bad QC at the factory, but I guess you get what you pay for

I just bought the same boat black & blue…. I just bought trolling motor and engine wire covers from Live Fishing. And put 20lb shocks on all my lids except Livewell. And we do a lot of swimming I purchased a Bimini top (8ft) from Leader LLC. Great idea mounting the rear transducer, good luck out there!
I got a 2023 H18 last month brand new for a killer deal. Sold my bass cat Caracal and I like my H18 more! Just a beast with the garmin force on it!

I can get a 2025 for 29k how does everyone like theirs. What don't you like. I think the lids are loud and I don't like the bench seat how it doesn't open independently. I wish the step could be opened
@@tonypanas8753 only thing I don’t like is that there isn’t a good place for co-anglers rods. I love mine. Best boat I’ve ever had.
77818ES01 is what i ordered from covercraft, it fits very well.
I've got basically the same boat and have been looking for a cover. Is there a part or model number on the cover? It's a wide boat which makes it hard to find a cover that looks decent. You're gonna love the boat but I gotta warn you about reverse in wind or current. If you could get back to me about the cover I would appreciate it. Thanks
Its a covercraft for a "john style bass boat" with a 92" beam. Fits really well.
I think your lack of speed is probably your prop. I get 52 mph every time. I have the power tech..the reverse problem isn't going away,we're stuck with that issue unfortunately. Are you sure that it's a 92 inch beam? If you measure its 94 at it's widest. I'm sure you're correct I just ask because once you get it you can't return it. Thanks

I don't know or remember. It was a long time ago.
I would lean toward checking the solenoids. Pull them out of the cover, check the screens if they have them, put 12v to the connector and see if they actuate.
My gt53 has the same noise, did you figure out if this is due to a bad compressor or it’s just like that for all gt53?
It's normal. Just louder than what you are used to because it is electric it can operate at 100% even when the engine isn't running.

I had the same issue I had to call a tech and he told me what to do.

I tried to hired a lawyer under the lemon law. Mercedes rejected to buy back car so I sold the car. Mercedes EVs are a fail.!!!
