Mmm that’s a hard one James. We’ve been lucky enough to stay in some great hotels over the years. If you pushed me it would be one of 3 - The Portofino in Orlando, the H10 Rubicon Palace on Lanzarote or the Sensatori in Egypt. How about you?

@cledwynontour5848 I'm relatively new to family holiday with having a 7 year old. So, I've only been away the last few years because of covid. So far, we have done menorca, lanzarote, kos. The problem with my family is that we need too many things to be right, haha, for example, flights early in the morning flights not too long lol hold on they is more close if not on the beach. Places to eat locally. We have loved our holidays so far, but the only thing not great is they weren't many brits, so the little lad didn't make any friends. So that's why I'm open to recommendation. We are not party ppl. We just like a cocktail and nice food and a bit of entertainment

Ah ... I see James. My kids are in their 30's now and we have only just started to go back on full family holidays with the Grand Kids. Lyttos was our first in many years (and it had something for everyone). I do however remember trying to keep everyone happy back in the day :) ...... It sounds like you are off to a good start though. Personally, I dont think you can beat the Canaries. If you stay clear of Playa Las Americas then there are lots of options for families - And the weather is pretty good all year round.

Are you a motorhomer? Campervan or Camper?

@ we bought our first campervan this year so very interested to pick up tips and hints for places to visit etc.

I think it depends on the tour operator. We flew with TUI. My understanding is they have cruise passengers flying into Florida too so Melbourne makes more logistical sense for them. It was a great airport though :)

@@cledwynontour5848 Being a South Floridan, this is the first time, I've heard of international flights to that airport.

I’ve just looked at their website and it looks like it’s currently only TUI Flights to the UK

The only pool you can't use is the infinity pool in the members lounge. But there's identical pool in the non member side.

From memory, I believe they were all fresh water.

There were two stops just 5 minutes walk away from the hotel. The one we got was here w3w.co/darns.envisioned.tramps The other was here w3w.co/ignores.slim.receives Both were on the beach road. Here's the link to their website traintour.gr Hope this helps.

Yes the pool by the bar is heated and the infinity pools are heated too.

Cassy it was great - low to mid 20's. This was our first visit to Crete and dont know if this was typical. But as you can see from the video (which was filmed end of October / beginning November) it was pretty good.

Hi .... we stayed between 30th October to 6th of November. Weather was great for us and yes Entertainment was on. Hope this helps.

It looks like the rooms have had a makeover in the last few years. And I have to say they were roomy and spotlessly clean.

I believe they were free

The Olympic pool is impressive….have a good camp 👍🏻

The nice thing about Canarian Flavors cruise is that you sail overnight (apart from one day). The first night we didn't even notice that we had set sail. Nights 2 and 3 were "very choppy". I slept through on both nights (but did feel the movement). My wife suffers with vertigo also so that added to the effect. After that it was fine. Our cruise was in February so still in "Winter", I'm guessing May should be calmer as it's summer? Hope that helps :)

@cledwynontour5848 our literary shows one full day at sea. Was the movements bad? As in side to side up and down? We are looking at may next year for corfu Slovenia montenegro and Croatia. Just a little worried I'll freak at a bad sailing night

@@twistedwelshtv3800We did that cruise last year on Explorer 2 in July. I am very travel sick and I only felt ship movements a couple of times in the theatre at night. I wore my travel bands one night but didn’t need to take a single tablet the whole week. We were in an inside cabin midship on deck 9
