I bought one of these in 2017 from Amazon and it never worked. Urant told me keep it and they shipped another one and still did not work. I had them shelf since 2017. I am now here in 2025 setting them up again still not working. It sets up ok but the Wi-Fi doesn't repeat the signal.

Thanks that’s very useful , our primary nodes didn’t have a button to press , but going through the app scanning the qr codes on the additional nodes and ensuring they were very close to the primary node did the job . (That’s UK supplied ones )

Do you need a cable with this to use it?

I have 30 plus devices connected. Thankfully I had a router separate from my modem. Only have to disconnect from my cable modem and directly connect the router via ethernet to the Eero after setting it to bridge mode. After resetting it took an extra 90 seconds to recognize the internet. Now no need to reconfigure all my devices. Plus I can connect directly to my router or to the mesh Wi-Fi. Which is a little bit faster.

Mine after counting to 100 would stay yellow white but after the 8th attempt there was a tiny amount of red on the outline but mostly stayed the yellow white . What would be a solution for this please

Using another smartphone and Turning on Bluetooth did work for me. Else I will just slap an ethernet cable on both my main and new deco and that will surely fix it.

Tried it multiple times. One deco unit will not reset. I reset it from the app. Even removed the unit from the mesh network. Now I only get a solid yellow light no matter how many times I try to manually reset the unit. Does this need to be replaced?
