Hi I need some tips for my physiological stuttering. Often times I think of saying a word and I basically can’t say that word. Words related to an and e. And specifically in certain occasions I stutter on other words as well. I feel like it’s a sign of anxiety and stress combined. I feel like I have to do something very small in order to fix this but don’t know what. Please help.

I think stutter can arise whenever you feel like a situation is getting out of hand and controls you rather than you controling the situation. It´s about owning a conversation in a way. When you own a situation and you claim your space without apologizing for it you don´t stutter. Atleast that is the case for me!

just dont use "um"

Mark, I was a client of yours, probably 20 years ago. Since, I only stutter when I get lazy choose not to use the techniques you have taught. Since being your student, I have given my wedding vows and eulogized my mother’s funeral with fluency. For others reading this, Mr. Powers absolutely knows what he’s talking about. I encourage you to look deeper into therapy if you are suffering from stuttering.

My stuttering is so bad that I cannot even talk on the phone properly and when I'm not on the phone I speak fluently I'm 34 years old and I still stutter I don't like it I believe the stuttering is due to the childhood trauma that I've been through and it's just messing my life up

Every job be like, excellent communication skills. 😂. It is game over for stutterers I think.
