Went out to the track last Friday. No traction compound at all was put down, so it's impossible to compare to last time. Still had a ton of fun and the best race between my brother and I. My 13.67 to his 13.70. Unfortunately, we got no video on that one. Cley

    I drove a big rig cross country the last 7 years before I retired. I carrier a major tool box in it. Lots of oil/ jugs of water, zip ties, of course duct tape a small spool of wire(like bailing wire) bunch of electrical wire and connectors. And lots of fuses, and fuel filters. Lots of bad diesel at some truck stops. Most of that at least got me to a truck stop, sometimes home. Then I’d fix the issues later. You going to tmhe NNN?

    I got towed home from the dragstrips in northern Ohio in 69-70. About 50 miles. Built a 500hp engine in my 64 Ford Galaxie. I broke everything behind it. Then I bought my 67 GTX Conv. Never raced after that.

  • @Ridendrty
    @Ridendrty 24 дня назад

    Good idea. Add a 2’ pipe for breaker bar. Add rad hoses. Rubber fuel line. Ballast resistor, control module, couple empty plastic 1 gallon milk jugs for emergency water or fuel carrier a jump pack and a portable battery powered air pump (dewalt others makes them).

    • @wildrosegarage4208
      @wildrosegarage4208 Месяц назад

      @@Mynextproject_74 I hate it when the track prep is all over the map. They can do a good prep and your car is working, go back next time and slow 60' with nothing changed. And it makes a guy think there are other issue's. If you want to test on a back road bring a broom, spray the road with dr. pepper let it evaporate and the road will be super sticky with the syrup left. Put down some fresh dr. pepper just in front of your tire and pull in it, do your burnout and roll out of it and back up to about 1' in front of the spot where you did your burnout. Should hook on that.
