I love the progression, and Ab-major is good for anything that should have an emotional weight. The piano could have a bit of a longer release, and you could soften the velocity a bit more. In a good plugin, velocities under 100 will sound much smoother, which can help you separate the bass, the chords and the melody. But the harmonies are superb.

This is not sounding good because the chords are played too violently, you should try to add some "Humanize" tool and lower the velocity and also try to : First: Find your chords and try to play a cool rythmic with them dont go too crazy if u are a beginner, Then: Record on another "Pattern" the melody so you can work with both of then independently. If u don't understand try to find some piano loops on Looperman for example and try to replicated/inspire them. Good luck it's hard to make music :) I've been a musician for more than 10years Don't listen to people giving useless criticism .
