Thank you. Got a few barrels from them before they went up on prices. I turned one into a cabinet. Plan on doing the same with this one. My Wife paints the left over staves. I have a Port Barrel also. Haven’t made my mind up what to do with that one yet.

sad thing is you can find most of that on the shelves one state over in Kentucky. Not worth getting in line at 4am to get a shot maybe at a Weller, or Elmer T. VA ABC is poorly run and inefficent jobs program .. it would be best for the consumers and the state to get rid of the ABC store system. Your limited to one bottle.. and at least in Arlington county there is always a line of 100 people lined up.. so there is no way you can get multiple bottles of anything.. unless your somewhere that nobody else shops.. or an inside job at the ABC stores.
I agree the system isn’t the best but I can’t afford to drive Nine Hours through WV to get KY just to buy a few bottles. I don’t mind getting in Line. And I’m up at 4:00am every day regardless. Thanks for watching. Cheers🥃

This one was just so so on open for me. Granted I think I had the higher proof one. I was getting a lot of pecan pie, which is great, but it was a bit simplistic. With air time though, I got from what I remember some raspberry type notes creeping in and the pecan notes faded away completely while the caramel hung on nicely. Got a backup too that I haven’t opened yet after killing off the first bottle. Cheers bro!
