Fricii & Koehresii can amazingly cross pollinate each other to create a new hybrid since they don't actually share any natural habitats together. These are the only ones of the family that will cross pollinate, though. I've been cultivating since covid.

Do you cut that 99% iso? I've heard it's better to have more water in it for applications like this, kills more microbes because it makes the alcohol stickier if that makes sense.

Why do you off center the graft? Shouldnt it be directly in the middle of the cactus?

Hi David, thanks for this. Any chance of an update? Did the graft take? I've only done one graft that took (LW on Pereskiopsis) and to my eye that scion looked too squishy - like it wasn't going to take. I'd love to be proved wrong. The title is after all "Grafting Made Easy" so I think we deserve to know if it was in fact easy... Cheers.

I was hoping to ask for further guidance on artificial lighting, as mentioned at around the 26-minute mark. I have an LED that can vary levels throughout the day on a timer, to a maximum of 7,000 K. You mentioned that 2,700 K is ideal for flower stimulation. What would your precise recommendation for flower production be? Have a low-light period in the winter? Thank you!

Another good video Adam! Why do you graft to unrooted rootstock? Can you explain what you do to root the stock with update, how much time it takes? Did you just put graft on dirt in pot or no dirt wire other cuttngs? Rooting hormone? How does it look now a few years later? The next steps would be helpful to me and others. Thanks!

I had a rooted leaf of Hoya kerrii. After twelve ¡years! it said: „Jeez, its boring!“ and grew itself a fellow to have a chat from time to time. This happened two years ago, and since then, the H. kerrii grew about one and a half meters per year. I cut her back multiple times, accidentially broke her growspot… she did not even blink. So, leafs can occasionally switch to bering a full plant, but with a tissue from the node, the odds are in our favour. Thank you for your experience and insight! (With love from Germany)
