@@jbacon1861 - yes, except for higher up closer to the damn. It seems to be 50-50 closer to the damn. I would say more like 40-60. At the damn my friends said the majority was Rainbows.

The flies used are in the video shown around 1 minute into the video. The flies that were catching were the Prism Torch, OP Prism Torch, Cheat Code, Olive Nymph, Natural Perdigon, and the Gray Mayfly emerger.

This was the beginning of September when things started to cool down a little.

Yes, this is Brahma hen hackle. Unfortunately, I haven't been able to find anyone with this particular style of hackle. I spoke with a Fly Shop in California who had Olive and Orange, but not the March Brown and they said they hadn't seen these in stock for over a year. I use a Whiting Farms soft hackle now that is similar looking to Brahma Hen.

Definitely worth the trip! One of the best waters in Utah to fish.

I have not tried it yet. The Green River was the first time trying this fly out. I’ll be trying it on other bodies of water also.

Yes, there was great BWO action the whole time we were there. It was in specific places, not through the whole river though. If you find them rising for the dry it was awesome! There should be some ant action right now, and in July you should see hoppers for sure.

In part, I feel like my talking takes away from the video, but I'll see how I can talk about my system more. I did show flies, but I'll see if I can explain why I like these flies.

Thank you! Glad to hear you like this method. This was actually the last weekend in April 2024. We were fortunately able to get there right in the middle of a BWO hatch, and this time I actually had flies they were interested in.

I didn't read slowly enough to specify where I parked. I parked at Little Hole and the first day went down river on Section B. Next day parked at little hole and walked 2 miles up before we started fishing. Third day, near the dam and walked downstream and then fished up.

They definitely were my friend! You need to come with me here one of these times!
