What a lovely guy… True gardener!
And if you Don’t live in a zone like the UK should I put them in the fridge until end of winter /early spring? Or is it OK for them to freeze and overwinter under the Canadian snow? Thank u!
Just found this. Why aren’t there anymore videos???
Very informational, and heartwarming that your Dad was showing the way :) Thanks
Rosa ‘Félicité Perpétue’
I wish the sound was louder, I can hardly hear it!
Why dId he let the plant go wild so long?
Love this gentleman!
What a shame this series didn't continue as I have found it very interesting.
I read a blog that says without stratification Delphinium germination rate is only 20%. With stratification - 90%. Would you agree?
I live in NW Florida, should I deadhead my agapanthus, I love this plant
Felicity was the other name, wish I still had my mum to garden with, thanks for this wonderful video
Just get ya presser downer 👍👍
This is the kind of tutor they need in horticultural colleges, no jargon or word salad. Just keeping it simple and straight forward.
leaving the stem so it will feed the plant is an important knowledge. Thank you very much uncle :)
Thank you for sharing love delphiniums
Your dad's brilliant ❤️
I am new to planting seeds and wanted to know how long you keep the tray in the water in your cat litter box for. Because I think I may have done irrepreble damage to my seeds for leaving them in the water to long.
Brilliant ...reminded me of my Dad...I learned so much from him. Great vid.
Ahh bless your dad..i miss my Good so so much when I see this video...just like him..I love the old gardeners...it's why I became a Gardener myself...but I haven't got anyone to teach me real gardening...it breaks my heart...also lost my Dad...he was a Carpenter...so many old techniques I wish I knew..stumbling along in my learning and knowledge...enjoy those delphs

I live in New Zealand but was raised by garden-loving British grandparents - the accent and topic are so comfortingly reminiscent of home :) Thank you for the helpful video as I have had no success with my delphinium seed efforts so far.
Any more videos? Gardening with your Dad is lovely! He knows a lot!
I just love everything about this video. It's so clear from this short 5 minute video that father & daughter have a very special relationship. Love your accents! (I'm from Texas.) And I love how he calls you "love" as he's telling you how to plant the seeds. This was very helpful to me. Thank you! I'm about to plant some delphinium seeds. I think I might make myself a little "presser" like you mentioned!
Beautiful
