What if I want to keep my home network private instead and connect my NAS server to my remote VPS as a WG client? VPS is WG server. After that I could setup ingress on the VPS

Awesome video, could you please show how to set up Jellyfin and the router so i can watch when away from home, also ive tries too many times to get the files into the libry but the folder shows up but its transparent and non selectable! I set up my pool, added 16tb of media and then tried to set up jellyfin only to not be able to get access to the file, yes to input the path of my folder with the 2 sub folders one is tv the othe films but both of these are transparent when sellecting them on the app side of jellyfin set up.... It would be aweome if you could kindly save my bacon as im unable to set it up with the outdated totourials currently out there! they are all sub smb update installs! Many thanks in advance Chris

Just bought their TeamGroup MP33 M.2 NVMe 2TB drive off Amazon. I ended up installing the drive as my 2nd drive for games to replace the 480GB SSD I was using for that task for quite a while. Completed some benchmarks using CrystalDiskMark and TeamGroup MP33 M.2 NVMe 2TB drive scored quite well. It's on par with the Samsung 980 M.2 NVMe 250GB been using as boot drive for around the last 3 years. The oldest SSD I own is an 120GB Kingston SSDNow V300 which released like 11 years ago. It was the very first SSD I had bought I still have it and the thing still showing 90% life left on the drive. Since the 120GB SSD is not that useful in a desktop anymore cause of it's small size even just as boot drive. I'm thinking about getting couple hard drive enclosures for both the 120GB and 480GB drives. Only time will tell if the TeamGroup MP33 M.2 NVMe 2TB drive will last or not. On the Samsung 980 M.2 NVMe 250GB drive I use as a boot drive it now has 20,407 Power On Hours and written 50TB of data. Still shows 85% life left on the thing.

hate to ask here, but if theres a fix i'd be glad to hear it. first i was playing and the right stick functionality was awful, only reaching 50% input until i installed the software and updated the firmware... it was a headache just getting steam to register the controller, had to go in and enable input for xbox controllers, when i was playing on an xbox controller before... anyways, I sorted that and played some steam games just fine, and i go to Epic to play some Rocket League and the controller input stops working... it will double up my inputs and act as if my mouse is taking over control. there isnt any options in epic or rockets that ive found. but its frustrating enough to pack it up and prepare a return. love the features but issues like this are ridiculous.

If your router supports it use port triggering instead, that fixed my issue didnt need to change anything else in truenas even in latest version, I thinks its under nat gaming in att router

Hi Teckworks ! Thanks for you video. I just wnat to all other viewers that this setup will not work with TrueNAS SCALE 24.04.2 . I 've insteand installed TrueNAS SCALE 23.10.2 and works just fine. No need to creat a bridge or had these 2 variables.😉

I recently bought an HP Turbo pci-e nvme adaptor for my old HP Z 440. Changed one bios setting and it loaded Windows 10. The adaptor cost $29 AU which is $200 AU cheaper than last year. So stoked that my old HP is blazing. I put a Gen 4 HP nvme which also cost me $29 AU into it. Hopefully no throttling issues running at Gen 3 speeds.

Great video, very informative. I was able to follow every step and get it to work. My only issue is that the connection is very slow, and some times when I try to access resources on my home lab it times out. The main usage that Im trying to get out of this, is to be able to access my VSCA server from anywhere and be able to SSH to my VMs using MobaXtern. Both are timing out.

I bought in 2022 and in 2024 the battery is horrible I have barely used this watch, it pauses charging for no reason with any wireless charger, I lost 400 bucks because I don't want to annoy myself just by using this, it looks good but it's a bad choice, I will never buy another smartwatch until there is something that have at least a week worth of battery and it's something decent. Very disappointed.

I purchased a Team group EX2 2GB SSD two years ago from Newegg. Last month it died (still under warranty) and I got an RMA number from them. It arrived two weeks ago, as confirmed by the USPS tracking number. Team Group apparently lost it and is now refusing to honor the warranty, claiming that their US affiliate has to confirm it's arrival, in spite of the fact that the USPS has clearly confirmed it. I reported this to Newegg and they refused to even contact them, claiming that Team Group has to first admit that they lost the drive, something they are refusing to do. I have never seen customer service quite this bad.

For anyone that is behind a cgnat or otherwise is unable to port forward, look into tailscale. Unfortunately i spent way too long trying wireguard until I found out that i was behind a cgnat
