I would say that undertale actually actively discourages you from doing genocide. Firstly, flowey tries to make you do it, but as we all know, he is the main antagonist and from the start, he is seem as untrustworthy. Secondly, the feeling once you're in genocide is.. uneasy, it shows you that there are consequences to everything you do. Sans also tells you not to do it, and as you said, papyrus still tries to tell you to not continue like this, also the bossfights are pretty hard so you can consider that too as something which tries to make you not do genocide Probably the only reward for killing everything in your path is the exp and lv

I wouldn't really bother watching this because it's just another generic plot with auto armor elements, where the hero saves the day, and that's how it all ends. Even if it seems impossible at first, suddenly everything becomes possible against all odds. I just don't quite understand the concept of the Xtale Series; it seems like it's simply trying to be an anime. Basically Dragging it too long that its not even interesting because of plot

I counted all of N's crimes and he ended up with 25 life sentences+ 22 years in prison and 20 death sentences, he's still cute as heck even with that list

The only characters that Underverse does great with IMO is Xverse characters (minus Frisk and Chara), main timeline Sans, Gaster (not XGaster), Dream and Ink. Player and all the main timeline monsters were bastardized, Error is inconsistent, Fatal Error was just there, XFrisk is a non factor and worthless, XChara is weak and pathetic like Player and the main timeline monsters are too weak.

I think people forget that the *most* N has ever hurt V is during the Pilot and in Ep 4, where he drop kicks her into the ground to neutralize her (V is just sorta sitting there at the end like she gave up, lol), and hits her swordarm with his (why are their weapon arms capable of feeling pain???). He tries his best to talk things out with V time and time again, even if she rejects him or his advice.

N. Guys, N has no business being so innocent and Sweet after the events of Episode 1. He was mistreated by who he thought were his friends V and J, Uzi literally blowing his head off, and almost dying again from J giving him a Virus, yet this man decides it's all good. God, N should get a head pat for just existing.

So I put in Cyn's visible serial numbers in EP7 into the binary to text and filled the first two numbers that give back a letter and 01011000 comes out as X, very fitting (So I'll refer to the original drone as such). I would like to point out that X may have been herself offscreen (between the time she woke up until before the basement timeouts) as the EP5 prelease pictures seem to show her as 'normal' enough to take a group photo together before the time Tessa's mother would absolutely despise her. This and Line 7 of her visor saying Absolute[SYSDBA] which is a real thing known as AS SYSDBA and is an admin privilege to be able to edit everything in and out of a database in this case X, so it most likely learned how her system worked then eventually took over. Or when Cyn woke up she just randomly displayed a face that happened to be a scared one since she does use the same eyes when she says 'the flesh demands invitation'.

I have hated N, but my problems are entirely with how I perceive him, and nothing else. I have never understood why people use his treatment of V/his "obsession with Uzi" as an excuse for why hes bad. Uzi is probably the first person in YEARS whos treated him kindly, let alone with respect. J didnt because she thought he was going against Tessa (before she knew that wasnt Tessa) and V treated him poorly intentionally as Cyn told her to or else Cyn "would have killed them both", which I think is a lie, but thats something else entirely. I personally ADORE NUzi and think they work incredibly well together, but I dislike about half of the scenes N is in WITHOUT Uzi because if just feels... idk, wrong somehow. like he acts out of character even when he isnt acting out of chracter... that and his overly friendly behavoir is something I find grating, not wrong nor something they shouldnt have done, I am just an ass who dislikes wholly kind people and adores wholly evil people (Samwise Gamgee may be the only exception to this). With everything we see that N knows, I also HEAVILY disagree with anyone who says that N mistreats V. Like you, I (mostly) count Intermission as cannon (save the V memory loss and SOlver Uzi being possessed by Cyn both for headcannon reasons I can explain if you want) because it fixes some genuine problems, BUT N has no real reason to trust or believe in V for, well, the ENTIRE SHOW UNTIL EPISODE 6, and the only reason I can think of is his personality *and* his memories. when his memories are locked away, he likes V and that is being broken down by V at Cyns request which Uzi kind of steals from Cyn later (Cyn probably wanted something plutonic, but that needs a whole theory I am not positng in this comment) and does *eventually* become romantic (I think it happens around the literal fall in episode 4, but thats just because I really like that scene). So saying that N doesnt care about V in episode 7 makes me really mad wehn he CLEARLY does at the beginning, and is terrified because of the "Mineshaft Trauma Ghost) because he thinks its his guilt at not saving someone he cares about coming for him until Cyn reveals herself to him. I will also be an eternal eNVy shipper despite also believing that NUzi is a better ship narritively and also because of what happens in the show between the two. let me have my cute butler and maid be together, damnit. N killing Tessa also always made sense to me for several reasons. Tessa being killed by N seemed to me like N killing someone who either didnt care as much as he thought they did (same evidence as you for Tessa, though I do think Tessa cared a bit more than you think personally, but I can agree you seem fairly correct about her treatment of them) OR, like both V and J, realized something was up. It could be that he had a similar thing with tessa as with V in episode 3 BUT with the need to prevent Uzi's death (and knowing that this version of Tessa unlike at the Manor WOULD NOT STOP BY WORDS ALONE, skipping to the inevitable end), and kills her to protect, not just Uzi, but also himself and possibly even J from more abuse. I think it wasnt only V, but J (still with incorrect/locked up memories) and N who noticed that Tessa was acting wierd (J with the keys, V when she looks into the helmet, and N several times with her murdery rampage thing). also, as for you comment about the whole "probably shouldnt have murdered Tessa even if it was the correct choice", No. He absolutely should have. I may think N is reall fucking dumb, he isnt stupid. He makes, in my opinion, a lot of really bad decisions that do end up working in the end. He *knows* that helping Beau cut him up and look for parts is a bad idea, but he wants to make others happy. he *knows* that V and J are mean to him, but who else is there? so him talking to Tessa during that scene was him giving Tessa ONE chance to tell him the truth, because if she doesnt or if she goes off topic, then she *will* convince him to back off or to make her death far worse for him. basically, he killed her so that he killed a liar rather than either being forced to kill a liar or his best friend OR lose the first person he cared about that cared back for him WITHOUT changing. He knew himself enough to act in a way I approve of, but with motivations I never see in characters, doing it *to spite* yourself. He wouldnt have been able to kill Tessa had she spoken, so he didnt let her, he is incredibly honest so "One chance" means "One chance only, or else I will take extremes". I loved your video, and I understand why N is the way he is better now. I still dislike N though. Glad to watch your video.

Although I don't really agree with what you say about Intermission and what it relates to Tessa. I really liked your video and the way you analyze N's character seems fascinating to me... But I must say that I find it criminal (It's literary, don't take it the wrong way xd) that you didn't mention that scene from episode 8 where N suffers from a panic attack and has memories of the horrible things Cyn did to him when he turned into a Disassembly Drone. Because that scene shows us that N, even though he is a sweetheart, doesn't mean he has wounds that he can't heal. Besides, it doesn't seem like that was a memory that Cyn eliminated, but rather it is a trauma that he himself repressed, but when Cyn tried to steal his core and opened his chest, he remembered it, he remembered the night of the gala, what Cyn did to him and the memory of his discarded friends by his side. Which shows that N was hurt all this time and that behind those smiles and innocent and pure behavior there was a darkness in his heart and a trauma that real scarred him, showing us that sometimes those people who give the most hugs are the ones who need them the most.

There is one thing I find weird, in episode 2 where the solver referred to itself as "we" but then, directly after, it started to say "I" or "my" and continued to say so from then on. And how when doing so it did not act as insane as it does throughout the rest of the show.

I read your additional scenes and i liked it how you basically explained how V survived in 6th episode. Im glad you did it because until now i didnt get it. To other scenes they were just filling small gaps between episodes giving us more clear view on "how we arrived at this location?"

I honestly don't know As for me, Solver and Cyn are different personalities, even in the music of "bite me" there is a dialogue between Cyn and Solver. As well as the subtitles that were initially shown by Cyn/Solver, then they began to show just Solver, which meant that he completely took control of Cyn.

24:55 This is honestly more my opinion, but something particularly damning towards “Tessa” is that she at least TWO reasonable excuses for killing Uzi despite knowing about the patch that she just didn’t give. The first being that she thought the thing was destroyed by the core collapse and the second being, considering the state of Copper-9 there was reasonable doubt about the thing actually working. Also she could’ve just said that she didn’t know about the patch, something N would have no good reason not to believe considering he had no idea about it until literally a few minutes ago. And despite that, “Tessa” not only doesn’t take N’s threat seriously, her first thought is to try the condescending pet owner routine(Emphasis on try since N cuts her head off before she can finish a sentence.) Not only all but confirming that “Tessa” was trying to kill Uzi despite there being alternative solutions, but not taking how much N cares for his girlfriend seriously despite him having a SWORD AT HER THROAT. That would be a serious Red Flag even if N did think of Tessa like a mother figure.

in my theory, cyn wasnt controlled in episode 5 but was after the "gala accident", i think that the absolute solver lied AND betrayed cyn that if she kills humanity then her V, J, N and tessa could have their happy ending, and i also think that the Absolute solver didnt really knew how to control the their host at first but after a while they slowly learnt it how to do so

It is just that we never got to know real Cyn because she died long before the series after being disassembled. Then the Absolute Solver broke in, taking over dead drone's body. And considering that the Solver is inside Cyn's corpse which is inside Tessa's corpse that means... The Absolute Solver is double skinwalker? Ok, well, that is a little bit complicated... But seems like the only right explanation to me

The armbands that the disassembly drones have now are different from the "marked for disassembly" ones, so they most likely originally had different P/N numbers. My opinion is that, when she let the solver in, it began the process of overwriting her original personality, and while it has finished doing so by the present, her personality shines through a few times at the mansion, like the nervous shuffle and trying to spare Tessa. The last bit of influence she probably had was letting N retain his personality. If her personality was still there in ep 8, I personally think she is more likely to still exist than Doll. (every doll fan is going to yell at me)

Surprised if took 4 minutes to explain this. I don't get how people could think that Cyn and the Solver are different characters. Cyn is just the Solver's chosen name body, not a separate entity. At least that's how I interpret it.
