They are from Tokyo. They've been around for quite a while, with various line-ups - the bassist shown here left two years ago. They kind of dance around the punk/rock & roll borders, probably more in the rock & roll region of late, but the lead singer, Coco, got into punk after staying in New York on an exchange trip when at school, I believe. This was actually a video I created for a twitch reaction stream, after showing virtually every other video. If I was to recommend three songs by them it would be... Many punk bands, with quite a few having taken something of a unique spin on the genre. Korea also has a small punk scene, where the British look is more common. @@RevStickleback THANK YOU FOR REPLYING I ALREADY KNEW SOME OF THAT BUT STILL VERY INTERESTIG. THESE DAYS ALTERNATIVE FASHIONS ARE TOTALLY MAINSTREAM IN THE EARLY 80'S PEOPLE WOULD PICK FIGHTS WITH YOU OVER A 'BLACK SHIRT' IT WAS INSANE. JAPAN HAS MANY WEIRD SUBCULTURES THEY TAKE INFLENCES FROM "THE WEST" BUT THEN PUT THEIR OWN SPIN ON IT. JAPANESE TV IS REALLY BIZARRE.

@@NoirL.A. Rumkicks, the other band I mentioned, get a lot of hate and abuse from (mainly) American punks for their look. It's like they can't grasp that the culture of their own hardcore scene in Portland, or wherever, isn't some universal truth that applies worldwide. And, of course, they are women. Foreign women as well, and for those who get a sense of machismo from the scene, they hate anything that 'dilutes' that.

@@RevSticklebackIf I had to hire them for a three-song performance, it would be Rock ‘n’ Roll Star, Koino 1234, and 222, with Love My Show for the encore. They have a lot of great songs so there are no wrong answers here.

I think capacity was 60, but the support bands stayed to watch, so it was rather packed, hot and sweaty. I was behind Dorothy, the bassist, during the first band's set, and that hair isn't the best to be behind. They aren't stereotypically short for East Asian women either. Probably 5'6" to 5'8. Yeawon went crowd surfing on the last song.

@@RevStickleback Smaller venues have a better atmosphere, imo, much more intimate. I heard you met Old Mr. B too !

@@brandydynamite5877 Yeah, met him and a couple of other subs to his channel, and then just hung around with them and the girls themselves outside the venue. Bizarrely I also bumped into and old friend that I had not seen or heard from in seven years, whose boyfriend happened to work at the venue.

@@maximushaughton2404 The tour manager recorded the whole thing on MJ's phone. his arm was dead by the end of it.

@@RevStickleback Didn't realise he was the tour manager. I thought it was someone that knew Mr B, like a few of us others.

If you don't know already, they are back in England in 2023, playing London, Brighton, Birmingham and Liverpool, before playing Rebellion again.
