I was scared to death to do this! Thank you for this tutorial! I have the same machine, so you saved me from doing an ugly straight stitch on a nice pair of slacks!! 😊
You are a natural and should consider doing more sewing videos. The speed and tone of your voice are conducive to a learning environment. I used your video to ensure I remember correctly how my mom taught me how to do the blind hem stitch as a teenager. It has been a long time for me, and my machine has me second-guessing myself. Thanks for the video!
Thank you! I love how you explained it thoroughly without wasting time and gave enough information to explain things so it was easy to follow and made sense.
Beautiful job, thank you! Why did you press the reverse button for? Do you have a tutorial or video on the tension, and the rest of the patterns or numbers in your machine?
Hello, I used the reverse to lock in the stitch. The tension depends on the type of fabric your using. For instance the tension on cotton or stretch knit would be a different tension. I hope that answers your question.
Thank you ! Got a new machine and excited to explore the many stitch options and this video is extremely helpful. Great tutorial with great explanations. This is great for the new curtains I am going to make in Spring . Very grateful for your demonstration. 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻
I found it easier to work out exactly where I wanted the ïnvisible "hem stitch to go and then with a black marking pen put a mark on the foot. I just follow the black mark I made and the stitch ends up in the perfect spot. This is handy if you have a foot as shown in video and not a special blind stitch foot.
So my blind hem stitch on my machine has a line of stitches and then peaks that go off to the right, not the left like yours does. So does that mean I'm gonna have to cram the bulk of my fabric under the small pass-through area of my machine? It's like it's all backwards
Back in the day, my Mother bought the newly built Singer with the first machine hem stitch. We did it this way; there were no hem feet out! We also gathered with no gathering foot. Honestly, those fancy feet aren't needed. Well done video! That's exactly how we did it back then.
Thank you, thank you, thank you! I have watched so many videos to try and figure out how to do the blind hem. I have the blind hem presser foot but could never understand the folding part of it. Your video using printed fabric made it much easier for me to see what was going where after the fold! Can't believe I've spent the better part of two days practicing until I came upon your video!
Thank you, I don't use my machine often and did have the blind hem foot, but needed you here to show me how to put it on machine. You saved my day, showing how to do it without foot.
You are just wonderful! I've been looking at videos on the blind stitch but your video has been the only one that makes sense to me. You are patient and knowledgeable. I so appreciate your help.
I’m super new to sewing and my hem came undone in the wash on my pants for work. Your video helped me tremendously thank you so much.
Thx. Learned something today.
This was the most straightforward video on hemming without a special presser foot. This rookie thanks you! 🎉❤

Thank you! I always wondered how to do this stich without the proper foot.😊
Thank you! I had to set the width to 2 for the visible stitch to look invisible which made it harder to sew but it looks perfect
Thank you! I love how you explained it thoroughly without wasting time and gave enough information to explain things so it was easy to follow and made sense.
Thank you so much for this video. I finally learn the blind stich by your teaching. Can't wait to get my material and try it. Gb.

Too wide of a zig zag!

3 years later and this is the only video I found that made sense in my head on how to do it, thank you and bless your soul
Very helpful, thanks!
Thank you!! I have a blind hem foot but does not work!!

Does yours also have the opposite? Maybe it has both But definitely test it out
Thank you all for the positive feedback. I will be creating more content and loading videos consistently very soon. Please be on the lookout.

💝✂️ I discovered a way to sew faster and easier even as a beginner, I talk more about it in my channel, I hope it helps those who need it.
