Bro do yourself a favor and buy the Craftsman hose clamp tool. Best 16 bucks I have ever spent. You will not regret it. It was one of those things like how did I live my entire life without these. I felt dumb after buying them for busting my knuckles for so many years.

This is not a good idea it can cause damage to the hose. Which can cause brake pulls or a caliper that will not release after applying the brake. Better option is take a calve stem and put it through the hole where the banjo bolt goes to the caliper. No leaks and won't cause damage to hose. It is also cheaper.

Zip tie is a brand name. Channel lock is a brand name. It's cable tie and groove plier

I replace with screw clamps

Those clamps are a never fucking leak clamp for cooling systems. I can fuckong stand seeing screw hose clamps on any antifreeze hose, it screams im gonna fail and fail good. Constant tension clamps are king but removal can be a pain in the ass.

Hate to deal with those clamps but they are the best ones to use, worm clamps dont expand with the hose when it all heats up like those do
