For those who love to sew fashion, upcycle clothes and add a touch of creativity to their garments... creating wearable art.
We call it FASHION EVOLUTION! Future Fashion Designers is a fashion design and sewing school in the Lake Norman Mooresville area of Charlotte, NC. Founder, Shawnelle Cherry is a costume designer for feature films, she moved from Los Angeles CA to NC in 2010 and started the school to pass on her love of sewing and fashion design to kids and adults. To help her students learn more she started the FFD/SewBits channel to share tips, tools and techniques and to inspire those who love to sew fashion, up-cycle and recycle clothes and create art wear of their own.

This pattern to sew pants is so easy. It has no side seam so the cutting and construction are much easier. I bypassed the zipper and the dart and just added fold over elastic to make it easier and quicker to sew.
