Introduction to Throttling Calorimeter:
A throttling calorimeter measures the quality of steam (i.e., the dryness fraction). It works by expanding steam through a throttling valve to a lower pressure, where its quality can be determined by measuring temperature and pressure.
Slag Screen of Boiler:
The slag screen is a protective device placed in the boiler to capture slag (molten ash) and prevent it from entering the superheater tubes and causing damage or blockages.
Types of Deaerators:
Tray-type deaerator: Uses a series of trays to remove dissolved gases.
Spray-type deaerator: Sprays water into a steam atmosphere to strip gases.

What activities we do during mill fire

Nitrogen acts as a protective gas, reducing the likelihood of combustion and enhancing the safety of the milling process in coal-fired power plants.
