Bentley was being a controlling, sexist jerk to the women in his life. The teacher gave him a taste of his own medicine. Bentley was smart enough to realize what a jerk he was. This was WAY ahead of its time.

It's crazy that the show was deemed somewhat of a failure, when you look at the guestlist, which were many of the great names and legends. The show had great, like the name said, variety. And Dolly was the incandescent center piece of it all. This show may not have been a triumph in the opinion of that time, but to me, it is exactly that.

I watched this Friday the 13th the series Star trek the next generation and war of the world's Saturday nights on fox were great back then 😀

Wow I remember when they played this on television back then, however it didn't last that long. I think I might have watched about 7 episodes and it was off the air, I'm wondering why they took it off. I'm just saying here, I thought this was good. Now here's the thing they could have done in this TV series. Had more of a storyline with Amanda Krueger in it, which is Freddy Krueger's mother. Also Amanda Krueger's has played a nun in a few of the nightmare on elm street movies too, not that many but here and there I guess you can say.

Noreen at that time resembled a more subdued Patty Duke who had her own show a few years later . Joan O Brien played the teacher , i did not recognize her at first because she did not play a nurse in the tropics and she spent part of the episode with a notebook against her torso .

With that mane of thick hair Forsythe maintained thru his life and that rich voice he could have been a TV anchor man !

How does someone like Dolly look so great 34 years ago -- and still looks great today?

These were really low budget and soap opera cheesy but I just loved them. I think that made them strangely more creepy. Anyway of anyone decides to upload whole episodes or even clips to RUclips I'll be you're bestest of chums 👍🇬🇧
