Just saw this post today (YT being rubbish with mentions and subscription notifications as always), you flatter me deeply with the shoutout, but it is very much appreciated. You in turn have been one of my earliest supporters and several times you have commented at the right time when I have been doubting myself, so I thank you eternally for that. Hope college is going well and everything is good, even if tough. Working on 2 videos myself right now - one of which you might be intrigued by cz it involves the new Test Drive game - but whether it be on your channel, or my channel, I'm sure I will see you soon :) EDIT: Forgot to mention. I don't know what it is, but these videos are just so hypnotic. I know I have said it before, but I really do believe you have a huge talent for this stuff and could branch out into using your skills beyond your own videos. Hey man, you should remember me :) Just had a quick look through your channel, nothing major but I picked a few to watch. Outside of your obvious passion for cars (especially through forza it seems haha) you have a real knack for edit timing. Have you ever thought of trying to make yourself some side cash for a bit by offering yourself to others to edit their videos for them? It would absolutely be a grind at first but it is totally possible. I think you've got the skills for it, I really do. You may have already gone down this road and I'm way late to the party lol, but I just wanted to put it out there. Oh and I've subscribed, legit cz some of those videos I saw impressed me, I know the time it takes to fiddle with something for so long and all you get out of it is a couple of seconds.
@@wheelysteve hmm... well while I wouldn't consider myself a *supreme editor*, i probably could manage some basic stuff, though i just have a few questions. oh as for pay, nah its fine ill do it for free xd. i really just like giving myself something to do. 1- how often do you expect me to edit stuff? as in, how often do you think you're going to be uploading stuff for me to work on? 2- do you want me to basically do stuff like add subtitles, cutdown fat from vids (though personally i think you rarely do stuff like get off topic for example, so i dont see a need for that all that much), or make flashy stuff? ive personally never gotten into commentary stuff so im not 100% sure how editing in that community works, but ill say you got me interested and im willing to explore for awhile. also if you would like to talk more you can contact me on discord - cozmo124 - thats where im usually active also ive never been offered the choice of editing vids for people so it's definitely a first for me xd
@@cozz124 I hadn't actually considered you editing my videos, I was meaning more putting yourself out there cz I know for a fact there are youtubers galore looking for a solid reliable editor, and I just thought you had more than enough ability to be able to at least put some stuff together for channels that do just want jazzing up a bit. I am flattered you would do it for me haha, although I wouldn't want to ask you to do it for nothing, and right now I can't afford to pay someone. It wouldn't feel right asking you to do my edits for nothing when you could be doing that very same work and earning yourself $50 at least (that's american dollarydoos, not sure where you live and I'm in England, but from what i have seen that seems plausible as an example). I am on Discord and trying to get into the habit of using it more, cz right now I only really use it to talk to a couple of friends when we play games together. So I will add you on there and we can talk properly :)
