I bought the cheapest Mazdaspeed 3 on the internet...
My name is Jeremiah and welcome to my channel!
I bought this Mazdaspeed 3 roughly two weeks ago and able to start working on it. When it was purchased I had thought it ran with minimal issues that should be easy to clean up but this video shows that there are more hidden then expected...

Any chance the kit you make would work on a 50cc? If so how much are they
Valves every 3 months
Gotta love the sound of the cat getting screwed in the background.
I think your fan shroud is on backwards. scooping less air to the engine
Do you think it will suck rain if you get caught in it ? I think that's what's the cans for. Great exhaust pipe got To get one.
That’s a great mod! I have the exact same bike. I think I will do that also. Thanks
You know that stock one looks ugly I agree ... but, that thing really makes that bike run well cold or warm. I still use the filter right off the carb ... or I should say my 2nd carb now (no riding in the rain trust me). It runs good warmed up.
Where can I get this at
I have this same bike. Did kind of the same thing. But just put the filter right on the carburetor.
Does anyone know of any color changing headlights i can use on a maddog gen 1 ? Also a rack to fit them
0:37 disposal screw gun .!
I have a gen 1 maddog, do u know what kind of conversion to led headlights i can buy
Telaney There are many shops that have aftermarket LED light bars that will work. My preference is eBay as my bike isn’t a high dollar build and I’m ok with being cheap sometimes. I don’t know what kind of stator setup the gen 1 runs but it may be a good idea to look into upgrading it to properly power LED lights too.
you never said how much you bought it for..
I had bought it for $800
But I sold it as I went with other projects
Yeah that thing looked like a headache. I was gonna buy a ms3 with 155k on it for 1.5k ... he Just changed the timing chain. It needs a wheel and tire and shocks soon. What do you think
How did this clone hold up after a few years? Is there a lot of frequent repairs?
I’ve had a 150cc maddog for a year already, it Sat for 6 months, and it had trouble starting, but I got it back and running on stock parts, cleaned the carburetor, changed the oil both engine & transmission. Then recently started modding it with a new spark plug, ignition coil, CDI, removed the stock air filter canister now it’s open with the stock air filter. It’s funny because when I first bought the scooter 0 miles , the first 500miles I couldn’t get past 45mph, I’m 5’11 220lbs so shouldn’t be an issue to at least get 50mph but not until the mods I mentioned I got it to 53mph against wind with a backpack on, and not so flat road condition. But talking about reliability so far good, the idea is to keep the maintenance on point and it will last. Most Honda Ruckus owners swap their engine/transmission for the gy6 engine anyways which is the same one as the icebear maddog. Also I’m no way mechanically inclined, I do even change my own Prius oil or do anything to it lol but working on the maddog is pretty simple & actually fun. You get to learn about it which makes you keep it up & running.
They are basically a scooter starter kit. Once you replace key parts you're good to go. About $100 to $300 more into it. Need to replace all the hoses, clips, oil and gear oil right off the bat. If you can't work on it yourself just pass. But this stuff is easy.
I need help! I have no idea where to find replacement parts. Can anyone help me?

Same here can't find anything
Does the intake case (canister thing) help if its raining? Not good if air intake gets flooded with water i guess
Is that the stock seat on the Gen IV or did you swap it out for something else? If you swapped it out, where did you get the replacement seat?
RCMeniscus it is the stock seat that came with the gen 4.
You gain nothing but exposure of your filter to the water puddles which will ruin your engine.
Can you make these for the minimax? Same set up im assuming
Do you still sell the cold air intake pipes for the maddog?
I dig the air filter mods but gota say no to that straight pipe exhaust
Where can I get those parts
i didnt know that was in their
Hey Jeremiah. How are you. From Shawn Smith from Savanna GA.
should be a good project for you, they are fun pocket rockets them chickens tho i still have a few videos of your black one on my channel :D
Big hole in that piston 😖😖😖
engine kiler..
Can i get a view from the egine bay
*3" intercooler pipe from cars!*
Running a bit rich is say
sounds like the cats are about to do a drive by. lol
Charles Graham hahahhahahahahaha
Nice mod and nice video. Is the exhaust open pipe? I have read that can harm the engine because it needs back-pressure.
Thanks! Yea the exhaust is a 1.5” open header...I’m sure in some cases it has caused harm but mine has been this way for around 800 Miles with no issues.
Iceman350 lack of back pressure from open exhaust
Its a myth and only true for 2-strokes.
Fuckin cats...
That stock setup wouldn't be too bad on my buggy
+dj beard The stock intake pipe? Sorry I didn't notice I had comments unanswered.
Hey bro, you say you make those intake tubes? If so, I'm interested.
Yea I'm making them. I can send you one just shoot me a message on IG @neversatisfiedmotorsport and we can talk about shipping.
Jeremiah Innes I don't have IG, you got an email I can reach you at?

@@jeremiahinnes9572 can I buy one of those intake tubes?

damn tat exhaust
honda
Nope
are you running stock carb , did you put bigger jets?
+Victor Gonzalez Stock carb still. The stock carb is sealed and doesn't allow for different jets.
Question: I happened to try this same mod (removing the can enclosure around the air filter) and the bike seems to breathe better but when I'm riding it starts getting choked up around 44mpg. It seems like maybe there's too much air going in now. I think maybe it needs more fuel now so I think maybe stepping up to the next size larger jet would help but it sounds like this bike has a sealed carb based on what you say above. That being said, any suggestions for how I can get mine to get a richer fuel/air mix since that's what it seems it needs with the can enclosure off? Your Thoughts?
@@joekarnsenko I think theres a way to drill out where that sealed area is and there should be that adjustment screw in where u drilled. Edit: I dont think changing the jet is in the "sealed" area, the adjustment screw is what is "sealed" .. I believe u can still get into your carb and change the main jet, that is not what is "sealed". I could be wrong. I ordered parts off eBay [jets and new filter] so I will update soon.
@@jeremiahinnes9572 so how much?
thanks
what size rear tire u have
+Willie Boyd Hey sorry for the long wait on the reply! It is 140/70 on a 12x4.5 wheel.
