I was happy to work that station again, because the first time I worked him 3 weeks ago I tried to shoot a videogate but camera batter went dead. So this time it worked lol. Cheers

Ha ha lol. Certainly have the room here for it. I use to run a full quad beam up on a tower. I put it all together in late 1980 and raised the tower and beam in early Jan. 1981, had it up for years. Before that I ran a 2 element V quad beam in the 1970's. However I have always wanted a 3 element Yagi , and this one really works good for the dx. So far this Yagi has been one of my favorite antennas. I have four antennas up here

One thing I have never owned in a Cel or I phone and I never will. Not in to any of that that stuff. Short Message Service doesn't interest me one bit. Been doing this for nearly half a century now, way more fun!

Parks Dept buys that stuff. Must be some special company that specializes in sports stuff. I retired from there a long time ago

Love the red maples,not many up here,more for ornamental installations.We got so many sugar maples and rock maples up here.Some on my property are 150 plus years old.We make our own maple syrup,not much just enough for the year,about 5-7 gallons.It takes about 40 gallons of sap to make I gallon syrup.Liquid gold👍🏻👍🏻73 Joe

@@Hillclimber-730VT Sugar Maples are nice and would be rare to see them in the landscape on our island. We only have native Big Leaf Maples here are lower elevations and their Fall color is yellow, but not so spectacular like the trees you have in your state. All the other Maples here have been introduced as landscape plants. Mostly Japanese Maples. They actually tap large leaf Maples here to make syrup. There is a Maple Syrup group on our island. Cheers
