Flower seeds and bulbs to plant in November for beautiful Spring flowers/ making apple cider vinegar
Просмотров 13621 день назад
Poppies are one of the easiest flowers to grow from seed..and it’s also to get them planted. Pansy’s are pretty easy to get started as well. This is how I’m starting them from seed a little earlier to hopefully have blooms to use in spring containers. Have you tried making your own apple cider vinegar? Did you realize it’s this easy to make it yourself?😃 #backyardgardens #daffodils #flowerplant...

I'm a new subscriber and I want you to know your videos bring me so much joy. I love them so much!❤
Thank you! I am so glad to hear that 🩷 have a beautiful and relaxing weekend friend!
Love the natural elements
Thank you friend 😊
What a neat idea w the ornaments. Your porch looks lovely.
Thank you so much sweet friend 😊 have a delightful weekend!
could we blend the petals into the oil and leave them there?
I always drain off the oil to remove the petals, this is why: leaving the flowers in will likely result in a chunky, unusable product and could potentially lead to mold growth if not properly stored. I hope this is helpful🩷
Yes its so cute! ❤❤❤
Thank you friend! Have a wonderful rest of your week
woow amazing .... im from sri lanka , I am also planning to start a farm like yours. I am currently working on the plan for it
I wish you the best with your farm! Thank you for reaching out. Have a wonderful day
This is so cool! Thank you for sharing ♥️
You’re most welcome friend! Thank you for being here🩷 have a wonderful day!
Oh I love that arbor 😊 that looks so perfect there. I wish I had chickens, I am an egg fanatic but we have too many foxes and racoons around here. Maybe someday …. Maxine is delightful 😊 Thanks for sharing
Thank you so much, that is very kind of you to say 🥰 I understand with having foxes and raccoons..it’s hard to keep chickens when you have wild animals roaming close by. Thank you for being here Bonnie! Have a beautiful weekend 🩷
Your arbor is perfect! It's a lovely addition! Truly inspiring!♥
Thank you so much Patti, that is the sweetest compliment! Have a beautiful weekend 🩷
Awe, so Awesome!!! 🐔 🍊
Thank you so much friend🩷 have a beautiful weekend!
Thank you Rosalind 😊
You’re most welcome friend ❤
Im going to try and over winter some bulbs in my garage … zone 3b is not the most friendliest zone for this sort of thing but Ill try it too. Love your doggie 😊
Oh my! Bless your heart..Zone 3b is quite cold! You’ll have to let me know how it turns out for you.. you can also cover your bulbs with a blanket in your garage to give them extra protection if you have them planted into containers. Have a wonderful weekend 😊
Your bulbs will be so pretty in the Spring! I love pansies and violas. I sow viola seeds in August. I put them in containers for my deck. I put them right outside my sliding doors. They are blooming beautifully right now! They are my winter garden. ☺
Thank you so much Patti 🩷 I will have to try this next year, sowing pansy seeds in August. Winter color for the garden is always a delight 😊 Have a wonderful weekend friend
Can't wait to see all your bulbs in spring ! ^^
Thank you 🥰 Spring is the best with all its beautiful flowers
My favourite thing for spring is the flowers! I love seeing the bees when they are about! I love having them cut and I used to take them to work when I worked this year I may have them in my kitchen
I love this so much! I agree, the best thing about spring is the flowers 😊
I love this story 😊 I wanted to add that I shared your info with my sister and she’s so excited to know I’m getting into growing more and more. She’s trying to get healthier and wants more gardens and home grown food to get away from chemicals where possible. What a great help you’ve been to encouraging us to change our ways. We are 55 and 58, she’s the baby but I’m the tallest so there’s that ☺️ We also have a wedding to go to and getting fit and pretty-er lol is going to be less stressful thanks to you and your knowledge and calming voice. Thank you so much!!! 😊
I didn’t stop for typos 😬
This makes my heart so happy to hear 😊 there’s nothing quite like growing your own food. Have fun with growing and experimenting in your garden as well as preparing for this wedding! Thank you for your kind words🩷
@@rosalindyoderThank you 😊
Love the gate! That looks amazing, yes good job indeed ☺ Pansies are always an adorable addition
Thank you so much Bonnie! Hope you’re having a delightful weekend 😊
Luv the chicken coop area. What egg colours do your hens lay? Maybe a short video on your hens and how you feed, winterize, daily routine etc … would be helpful for those of us who are looking into getting chickens. Just a thought. 😊
Thank you so much 🥰 I will have to do that, make a video on the chicken coop. I like to have a rainbow variety of eggs😄 we have light blue eggs, olive green eggs , one lays olive green with brown speckles, dark brown eggs, light brown eggs and white eggs
Beautiful gate! Your Spring blooms will be delightful! Take care!
Thank you Patti, I appreciate you! Have a wonderful weekend 🩷
Hi Rosalind 😊 I only have plastic bags but I’ve left them open and I keep forgetting to get paper. Will my seeds rot or mold?
They should be fine as long as there’s no moisture in the bags😊 You can also store them in containers, like glass jars
@@rosalindyoder oh great I have all kinds of jelly jars, I never thought of that, thanks 😊 I am trading dahlia tubers with a garden friend. She has these super dark burgundy red dahlias flowered zinnias I think they’re called. So excited! 😊
@ how fun! That sounds beautiful 😃
This year I’ve been learning how much I have to learn 😊 Tulips are so pretty but it’s daffys for me. My garden buddies are split down the middle 😅
🥰🥰
Thank you! Love it!
You’re most welcome! Hope it’s helpful to you
Your video is so full of inspiration! Thank you!
That blesses my heart 🩷 you’re most welcome! Have a relaxing weekend Patti

Sweet video ❤
Thank you so much sweet friend and thank you for joining me in the garden 🥰 have a beautiful weekend!
One of my favorite flower. Smiles of spring.
I agree 😊 they’re a breath of fresh air after a long, gray winter
I think I'm going to stick with daffodils and more hardy Darwin tulips
This is a great idea 😊 something that comes back reliably every spring
I actually didn’t know about Darwin tulips til this years as well 😊 is it spring yet???
@ I too wish it would be spring already! 😄 drawing tulips are beautiful, you’ll love them in your garden
What is the name of this flower?
This is limelight panicle hydrangea 😊
Hey mam ,can you name the flowers in this vedio ,all those link and yellow and baby pink flowers and white ones too , they're gorgeous, I wish to grow a few cuz I was inspired by you
Hi! There is quite a variety in my garden 😄 but I have zinnias, rudbeckia, coreopsis, garden phlox, hydrangeas, dwarf rose shrubs, obedient plant, petunias, scabiosa, nicotiana(flowering tobacco), daisies, dinner plate hibiscus and butterfly bush shown in this video😊 hope this is helpful to you!
@@rosalindyoder thank you so much 💓

Love that light pink colour
Thank you so much 🤗 this is ‘Beverly sills’ reblooming iris
Wow! I love those pinky peachy iris color. I'm only familiar with our blue/violet ones and the rare white ones.
Thank you so much 🥰 this is ‘Beverly Sills reblooming iris’
The arbor in the path of your new garden sounds really good. It would make the garden even more inviting. I haven't had a killing frost yet. I'm in zone 7 so we've only had frost on our rooftops. I really enjoy it when you talk to us when you're working. I learn a lot too!
Thank you Patti! I love hearing everyone’s thoughts..it makes gardening a delight. 🥰 I’m glad you’re still enjoying your garden.. I feel like one is never truly ready for the first frost! Have a wonderful weekend friend
Can you place the captions a few cm up? they are difficult to read on a phone as the username and caption cover it. you have beautiful irises ❤
Thank you, so much🥰 I’ll definitely have to remember this next time to move the captions up higher. Thank you for kindly reaching out and bring it to my attention! Have a wonderful rest of your week🩷
Dried tomatoes 🍅 look yummy!
Thank you! This is the first year I’ve made them..I’m excited to try them in stew this winter 😊 have a beautiful week friend!
What dahlia seeds? Dahlias are propagating by tubers, not seeds.
Yes if you want your dahlias to produce the same flower as the mother plant, they will need to come from the tuber. Most dahlias will produce seeds if they’ve been pollinated. After the flower is done blooming, instead of deadheading, you’ll let the bloom go to seed. I share in this video how to harvest seeds from your dahlias
Dear Natalie, I was surprised too 😊
❤❤❤❤love it!
Thank you friend! Hope it’s helpful 🩷 have a wonderful weekend
I discovered your garden channel today ..omg I enjoy with you each video! Your smile tell me everything!
Thank you, that is so kind of you. I’m glad to have you here! Have a wonderful weekend friend🩷
I harvested mine this year. Time will tell if I'm happy with the results
Sometimes there’s only one from the whole batch that you end up truly loving. Hope your collection from this year, holds some beautiful treasure for you 🩷
Lovely, I just got a bunch of plants on clearance for $1.00 as well.
Isn’t that the best feeling ever 🥰 have a beautiful day friend!

Thank you 😊 have a wonderful day friend!
@@rosalindyoder ❤️🥰
Those blooms are amazing! What is you’re secret?? No, wait, don’t tell me 😊 So beautiful 😊
Thank you! I really don’t have a secret 😄 we add wood mulch to the gardens each spring and that is it. This is a limelight hydrangea..they really are one of the best hydrangeas to have
Hi Rosalind 😊 What great helpers you have 😊 I love those benches, hubby did good 👍🏻 Your gardens are so beautiful, thanks for sharing. Your silver bells petunia is massive 😅
Hi Bonnie! Thank you so much😊 not sure what I’d do without the little garden helpers 😄 The petunias are Proven Winners brand. I feel like they have the best performance all season long. Have a beautiful Sunday my friend 🩷
@@rosalindyoder ☺️ I have a cat. She doesn’t dig but she likes to inspect every plant. Not sure what she’s looking for but she lays by each section for less then a minute then scooches to the next section lol so strange
@@bonniemccormack1361 that is adorable 😄
Thank you so much for sharing your gardens with us! You give so much inspiration in all your videos! This guy now wants to go looking for discounted perennials! Always look forward to all your videos, can’t wait for the next one! Have a wonderful week!
Yes, you definitely need to find a few discounted perennials. Its the best time of the year 😉 It makes it worth it, having friends like you here to share the gardens with. Have a relaxing Sunday!
Hi thank you for sharing, I love this! I'm wondering if we can use just the oil and the Shea butter if we don't have bees wax?
You’re most welcome! The bees wax is what helps the salve set. If you don’t mind having it more like a liquid instead of a salve, you can totally make it without the bees wax 😊
@@rosalindyoder will try it out, thank you!
@@KarenHaceYoga let me know how it turns out for you 😊
🐔 🐓 ! 😊 I use my sons baby wagon to this day hauling stuff, too.
