I think that safe loop of the backspin that you do is way too high. Maybe you could try waiting longer, having a more relaxed swing, or angling the racket more forward. I think esp the second one, your arm looks tense. I've been watching MLTT and Rebetez from TX last year does really nice safe loops.

The thing with older players is that they have developed great touch. At my club, the owner is in his high 70s and still whoops on 20 year olds that have a 2000+ USATT rating.
