I will be sharing my passion for having to many projects and not enough time to complete them with all of you. From working on my 92 GMC Sonoma to my 1990 Mitsubishi Eclipse GSX. Good times and good people will also be a part of this; not just work. So kick back and enjoy my struggles!

I start the eclipse and get it out of its winter spot to start getting ready for the 2025 repair/racing season. Lots of bearings/seals/paint and other parts have been purchased.

Hey jimmy remember that day you went to Aqua Pelouze event with nick and did you see a morning ball that said 017 Us coat guard on it and yesterday I went to potter cove and check on the morning ball and the fender was not there and the pick up line was not there and I think someone stole the fender and the pick up line on my boat morning at potter cove and the other people morning ball were not stolen but for someone reason mind is and I just wondering if you remember who stole it and the Portsmouth harbor master need to go out and check but he just lazy sitting on his boat
Jimmy also I got a another 32ft Trojan boat and is 1981 and next year I was planning to bring it to pleasure marina and also I’m sure nick 22 ft cobia boat will fit in a 30 ft slip on c dock and maybe he will be right next to me

What did you do with the engine & T5?
The engine is currently getting stripped down in preparation for machine work. also I'm in the market for a t56 trans but I might just go the th350 route because I have 2 of them already.
@@JimiRigged Nice, post a video if you can of it. I have a 2.8/T5 that I got rear ended in. Nothing that suited me was available so I ended up getting the same extended cab one but it’s a 4x4 with a 4.3v6. Going to spruce it up as best as I can & make it my daily.
This winter Ill have some motor videos. The eclipse took priority for now. Also 4x4 chassis are nice for the fact you can make them all wheel drive! Kinda like a cheap mans syclone lol

I believe so?, I know a lot of people that will take everything out of Astro Vans though and swap it over.

Why would you pay for a slip if you have a trailer?
In hopes that we will use the boat much more. It's a lot more convenient to drive a car to the marina hop on the boat and go then to have to launch it every time. I've been trailering my boats for a long time so this will be a new experience!
@@nicksahoy6240 I guess so. Keep an eye on the crud that grows on boats left in the water. It will slow the boat, increase fuel consumption, and clog water intakes making the engine run hotter. And it's ugly.
A prop place can fix that ratty skeg. But it's even better to not drag it on the ground.
It was busted before I bought the boat, but good to know. I've also debated getting one of them bolt on replacements.
@@nicksahoy6240 No, the propeller places are best. The skeg protects the propeller. Well, yours doesn't, but it protects the prop and is also the rudder. You are also losing some steering capability. It's best to suck it up and keep both in top condition.
Looks great. Here in England I now always fill my boat up on the road, usually in Costco as the fuel is so much cheaper than it is afloat. It looks as cold there as it is here 😂
You should fuel your boat up fully at the end of the season instead of now. Doing so will leave little room for air inside the tank. If there's air, moisture in it will condense as it cools down and drop into the tank. I always refill my tanks at the marina right before I yank it out of the water. Before they built the marina, I'd stop and refuel it at a gas station on the way back home. I only have time to boat on the big 3: Memorial, 4th, and Labor Day so I just trailer my boat 2 hours to get to the lake, then spend 7-10 days on the boat. If the marina wasn't insane I'd get a slip, but I'm not paying close to $5000 a year for a slip for my 30' Doral on a lake that has nothing on it (bars, restaurants, clubs, etc.), and a marina that just has docks, fuel, and a store, no other amenities.
Damn that is expensive. This is on Narragansett bay in Rhode island for half that price. Normally I would atleast put stabilizer in or fill it up but I didn't want to dump another 40 gallons in the tank till I was sure I was going to use the boat a bunch this year. First time I've ever had a slip in the 12 plus years I've been boating.

Hope you’re using some kind of marine treatment. Ethanol fuels (pump gas) is so hard on marine engines. I only run ethanol free due to my years of working in the marine industry
You're lucky to live somewhere that still sells pure gas. Most states require 10% ethanol gas, pure is banned. Biden was pushing hard to force the few remaining states that sell pure gas to ban it, and only sell crap gas. They've been pushing the same BS in the marine and aviation industries as well for years. So far I can still get pure gas but it's around $1.25 / gallon more expensive than meatloaf gas. Don't know if it's taxes or supply that's been driving the cost way up - it used to only be about a $0.30-0.40 premium for it.
First tank is land fuel, the rest of the year will be the expensive marine fuel on the water lol

I HAAATE when people rip the interiors out of these with their "dreams" of a race car. Also, yes the 92 was the first year to get the 4 bolt rear. I believe their production started July/Aug of 91. I'd get rid of that solid "harmonic balancer" and go with a Fluidampr or at least a stock one. If the balance shafts have been deleted there really needs to be some harmonic dampening. When I bought my 92 a few months back, it had sticking rear calipers. I pulled the calipers off the bracket, pushed the brakes to let the piston come out a little, cleaned the portion of the piston that was showing, then took the bleeder out and compressed the piston with a really nice tool rented from O'Reilly since they need turned in. I then completely bled the brake system and they've worked great ever since. The fluid that came out was nasty, pulling the bleeder all the way allows larger chunks to come out of the caliper.
Fluidampr is on my list of things to buy lol. I would assume the b/s were deleted. Guy said it was built but he wasn't the owner who "built" it, nor had paperwork to back it up from the previous owner so you know how that goes haha. Im gonna give those rear brakes a cleaning/rebuild like you said. Shes going into the project thursday shop soon! Thanks for the feedback!

I found the picture of the add I took before it was taken down after being sold to me. act2100lb, 20g turbo, eagle rods, je pistons, bc 272 cams, 750 injectors, 255 walbro and a maf translator.
