You going to get it figured out brother! Dont get discouraged and ride safe. Get real comfortable with friction zone on your clutch and that will make a world of difference at speeds under 5mph and keep the back wheel spinning when you not at a stop. It will all take time but in the end, it will pay off. There no better feeling than wind therapy!

For you as a new rider. I know this was about a year ago, but I suggest taking the MSF coarse for beginning riders at Harley Davidson. Then subscribe to Robert Simmons "Be The Boss of Your Motorcycle". It's always good to learn from those who are very good at it
